‘Million Dollar Secret’ Season 2 Episodes 1-3 Recap: Four guests are eliminated as the hunt continues
‘Million Dollar Secret’ Season 2 Episode 1 introduced 14 guests at the Stag. The show host, Peter Serafinowicz, welcomed Altie, Daisy, Hunter, Kaleb, Kasey, Kat, Kevin, Lauren G, Lauren T, Melissa, Natalie, Nick, Tarek, and Umeko, and they were assigned their individual rooms and a unique identity. The guests then opened their boxes, and most of them received a welcome note. However, it was revealed that Altie was the secret millionaire, and Natalie received the clue about the millionaire's identity.
Altie was surprised to see a million dollars in his box. Soon, he was called to Peter’s private study for a secret agenda. The host told him that with money, he would have power. “You can maintain and strengthen that power by successfully completing a secret agenda,” revealed Peter. He also mentioned the twist: “If you achieve this secret agenda and survive the vote, you will earn a kill shot to use at the elimination dinner tomorrow night.” Altie’s task was to repeat a phrase of his choice while conversing with fellow guests. His chosen phrase was, “No cap.” However, the downside was that if Altie somehow failed his secret agenda, he would have three votes against himself.
Throughout various conversations, Altie managed to move forward with his secret task. However, one of the guests, Nick, grew suspicious of his behavior. The secret millionaire had until the next afternoon to complete his secret agenda, which he did. Later that day, the guests went hiking for the group activity. The 'Million Dollar Secret' Episode 1’s first activity was to shoot the apple placed on various paintings. Kevin, Hunter, Natalie, Melissa, Altie, Lauren T, and Umeko managed to successfully shoot their targets and gained entry to the Trophy Room. Things then heated up at the elimination dinner as the group discussed who the secret millionaire was.
‘Million Dollar Secret’ Season 2 Episode 2 started with the first elimination. After Nick shared his concerns about Altie’s behavior, everyone cast their votes. Altie, Daisy, and Natalie were on everyone’s radar. This resulted in Altie being eliminated. The next morning, a new secret millionaire was appointed: Kaleb. His secret agenda was to get three guests to wear his hats. As a reward, he would get to use Altie’s unused kill shot for a double elimination. For the second activity, Peter randomly chose two captains, Nick and Melissa. They chose their teammates. Nick went with Hunter, Kasey, Lauren T, Umeko, and Kat, while Melissa’s teammates were Kevin, Kaleb, Natalie, Lauren G, and Daisy. They were sent to separate rooms for a treasure hunt. After solving numerous clues and hunting for different items across the estate, Melissa’s team won the activity. The next elimination dinner revealed that the secret millionaire successfully completed their secret agenda. Hence, there would be a double elimination. Lauren T, Hunter, Umeko, Nick, Kasey, Kat, and Tarek were unsafe. As everyone shared who they thought might be the secret millionaire, they got into a heated argument. Natalie received the most votes, but she was not the millionaire. Along with her, Tarek was also eliminated with the millionaire’s secret kill shot.
Episode 3 of the Netflix show started with Peter’s announcement about how the secret millionaire’s power was growing. “Find them now or lose control of the game,” he added. The secret millionaire, Kaleb, was secretly invited to Peter’s study, once again, and he was tasked with being in “Kevin’s shadow for 45 minutes.” Later that day, the guests arrived at the beach for the next activity and had to retrieve golf balls from the water. They were divided into divers and interrogators for a series of tasks to be performed. The winners were sent to the Trophy Room while the rest met Peter at the elimination dinner. He revealed that the millionaire had completed yet another agenda. Lauren T received the most votes, but she was not the millionaire. As a reward for completing the secret agenda, Kaleb chose to move the million dollars. The next morning, Nick ended up with the cash in his box.
