Internet reacts as 'RHOSLC' Season 4 reunion seating chart reveals Monica Garcia and Heather Gay amid ongoing lawsuits
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The reunion taping for 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 has officially begun.
While viewers eagerly anticipate the on-screen drama between cast members Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Angie Katsanevas, and friend Mary Cosby in the upcoming 'RHOSLC' Season 4 reunion, one detail is available in advance—the revealing seating chart.
When Season 4 rookie Monica Niki Garcia was seated first in her maiden season, viewers couldn't help but respond.
BravoTV has unveiled an official seating diagram dispelling rumors. The caption accompanying the 'RHOSLC' reunion seating chart reads, "We’re squashing the rumors... here is the official seating chart!"
Monica, Andy Cohen's right-hand woman, stands as the reigning newcomer. She has undoubtedly showcased her worth by engaging with Lisa and her opulent lifestyle, providing entertainment for everyone.
As a result, the founder of Vida Tequila is placed in the second slot on Andy's left side.
Her problems with Meredith are far from over, but Lisa has more important concerns.
Meredith and Lisa find themselves seated opposite each other, and the looming possibility of a lawsuit arises if Lisa decides to take legal action against Meredith for dressing her in a belly-dancer suit at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Whitney, seated at the end of the sofa, completes Andy's right flank. She did everything she could to put Meredith in her place in Palm Springs.
The failed lunch attempt with Mary adds another layer of intrigue. Surprisingly, Mary is present for the reunion and is seated at the opposite end of the couch.
Angie finds herself seated next to Mary, creating an intriguing dynamic given Mary's apparent sentiments about being placed beside the 'RHOSLC' newcomer.
Angie is in a good position to address her numerous complaints about Meredith.
Heather was finally assigned the seat next to Andy. With her new book, she's basically the lady of the hour this season.
Perhaps the Bravo executive is still looking for an explanation for the black-eye incident.
In response to Monica securing the prime spot in her inaugural season, fans on Instagram expressed their opinions, with one writing, "I’m not even sure why Monica is on this show."
Another user chimed in, questioning the choice: "Why are we rewarding bad, fake performative behavior with the first seat?!"
One user also fears, "I know whatever happened between Monica and Heather is BAD if they’re both first seat."
A user noted, "A lot (sic) people had that chair in their first season. Do not make a big deal about it 😩 Kenya Kristen Tiffany."
One user further wrote, "With all due, Lisa should be in the first seat. Or…something huge will go down with Heather before the season ends."
"I’m asking Santa Claus for Mary and Monica not to return next season 🙏 🎄 🎅," wrote another.
Monica Garcia sues 'RHOSLC' co-star Heather Gay's Beauty Lab for 'botched injections'
Heather and Monica, co-stars on 'RHOSLC,' appeared to be developing an onscreen relationship during Season 4, but the ladies are now embroiled in a court battle.
According to The Sun, Heather's firm, Beauty Lab + Laser, filed a lawsuit against Monica in August after the reality TV rookie failed to pay for treatments she had at the aesthetic facility.
According to the complaint, Monica signed a contract on December 10, 2019, to pay $2,449 for cosmetic injectable procedures. As per reports, the Brea Baby creator paid $449 toward the overall amount, which included the $400 down payment and $49 set-up charge.
She was reportedly neglectful in making her $200 monthly installments until the entire $2,000 was paid.
Monica filed a counter-suit against the corporation in September, but the filing was changed in November. Monica sued Beauty Lab + Laser the same month for violation of independent duty of care, breach of contract, and breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing.
In the complaint, Monica asserted that she failed to make the monthly installments due to receiving injections that were "defective" and "negligently given," ultimately not delivering the intended and promised results.
After undergoing what she referred to as "botched" cosmetic modifications, Monica sought assistance from a "competent party" to rectify the damage. Notably, she believes that Beauty Lab + Laser filed the case shortly before her 'RHOSLC' debut, suggesting an attempt to tarnish her reputation.
Heather addressed the court dispute on November 9 via Instagram, sharing a promotional video of the company and a shady remark about her co-star.
Other Salt Lake City Housewives appeared to take sides in the post's comments section, with Lisa, Whitney, and Angie expressing their support for Beauty Lab + Laser. Monica, for her part, appeared to reply on November 10 via Instagram Stories.
“My only comment at this time is see you at the reunion,” she wrote, continuing, “Xoxo, Monica GARCIA, BETCH.”
'RHOSLC' Season 4 cast fails to accept newbie Monica Garcia
TVLine spoke with some of the Salt Lake City Housewives at BravoCon 2023, and they revealed a big schism between the whole group and Monica.
According to Heather, Monica hasn't been fully embraced by the group, as she stated, "We have some great history and so many layers to our friendships. We’re a tight, hard group to infiltrate, I guess."
According to Angie, Monica is not particularly fond of the group. Angie commented on the importance of friendships, saying, "I think that the biggest thing that I learned is, just the friendships. And how important it is to support friends and be truthful and honest. You know, sometimes we talk, but to always be supportive."
Monica herself told TVLine that she hadn't spoken with Lisa or the rest of the group.
Heather Gay calls 'RHOSLC' co-star Monica Garcia 'full of lies'
The Messenger spoke briefly with 'RHOSLC' star Heather at BravoCon, and she had some harsh words for anyone who believes Monica.
"I don't pay any attention to anything she says," Heather said. "She's full of lies."
When asked if she believes anything Monica says, Heather quickly replied, "No."
She was abruptly interrupted before she could elaborate, leaving viewers to speculate about what unfolds in the show's second half.
