The Internet is gushing over Joshua Henry as Gaston in ABC's 'Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration'. The special delivery comes in honor of the 30th anniversary of the animated classic and is an animated/live-action blended special. It showcases the fan-favorite movie, along with new musical performances, sets, and costumes inspired by the classic story. The two-hour special will stream on Disney+ starting Friday, December 16. He has established his dominance in stage performances with roles in 'Hamilton', 'Carousel', 'American Idiot', 'In the Heights' and 'The Scottsboro Boys'.

The 38-year-old is accompanied by HER who stars as Belle, alongside Josh Groban as The Beast. The three main acts are further supported by Rita Moreno as the narrator, Martin Short as Lumière, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, Rizwan Manji as LeFou, Jon Jon Briones as Maurice, Leo Abelo Perry as Chip, and Shania Twain as Mrs Potts. Henry has been sitting in a comfortable position in his career after projects like 'Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration' and the critically acclaimed 'Tick, Tick... Boom!' starring Andrew Garfield.

One Joshua Henry fan wrote, "Petition for Disney to get a Beauty and the Beast revival on Broadway ASAP so Joshua Henry can play Gaston there as well because he is PERFECT #BeautyAndTheBeast30th" Another user tweeted, "After watching the Beauty and the Beast 30th Anniversary Special, I am 200% behind a Broadway revival with Joshua Henry as Gaston. He was flawless in that role!"
