HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Scott Disick is currently experiencing feelings of sadness, according to a source who spoke with ET. The insider revealed that while he misses his parents, he finds solace in his role as a father to his children, whom he loves deeply. The source further stated, "Scott is feeling a bit sad right now. He really misses his parents, but he is so incredibly grateful for his children and absolutely loves being a dad."

The insider also disclosed that Disick is trying his best to focus on the positive aspects of his life. However, recent events such as the airing of Kourtney and Travis' wedding special and Sofia Richie's upcoming nuptials have been a source of emotional strain for him. The source said, "He is doing his best to focus on the good things in his life, but between Kourtney and Travis' wedding special airing and Sofia's wedding this weekend, it has been a lot." Disick has been spending time with his close friends as a way of coping with these challenges, keeping himself occupied and distracted from his thoughts.

'Moved on from their relationship'

Earlier this month, the highly anticipated wedding special 'Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis' premiered on Hulu, featuring Kourtney and her now-husband, Travis Barker. As reported by People, the event was "small and intimate, with just close family and friends in attendance." Meanwhile, Scott Disick, Kourtney's ex and father of her children, is feeling a bit uneasy as his own ex-girlfriend, Sofia prepares to walk down the aisle. Scott and Sofia were in a relationship for three years before calling it quits in 2020. Sofia got engaged to music executive Elliot Grainge last year, and the two are set to get married this weekend in France.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source close to Scott said that he had "moved on from their relationship" and was "happy" for Sofia following her engagement.  However, with her wedding day approaching, Scott is said to be experiencing mixed emotions. In the words of the source, "Scott has been in a good place for a while now and is focused on his family, his health, and his businesses. But there's no denying that Sofia's wedding is bringing up some feelings for him. He's happy for her but also a little sad to see her move on and potentially start a new chapter of her life without him."

'He's ready to take the next step'

According to an exclusive report by Us Weekly, Scott Disick is feeling reflective about his future as he watches his former girlfriends move on with their lives. With Sofia Richie's upcoming wedding and Kourtney Kardashian's approaching one-year anniversary with Travis Barker, the reality star is reportedly longing to settle down and start a family of his own.

As fans of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' will know, Scott has three children with Kourtney: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. While the reality star has been linked to various women over the years, including Amelia Gray Hamlin and Kimberly Stewart, none of his recent romances have lasted longer than a year. In the words of the insider, "Scott is definitely at a point in his life where he's ready to take the next step and start a family of his own. He's been through a lot, but he's finally in a good place and knows what he wants."
