'Bleach is toxic': Internet slams Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick for dyeing 8-year-old son Reign's hair blonde
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Scott Disick recently shared photos celebrating Purim with his children, and it seems like Kourtney Kardashian is not the only family member changing their appearance. His son Reign was seen sporting bleach-blonde locks in the pictures. The 8-year-old was captured in a crimson hoodie, a red t-shirt underneath, and black sweatpants, holding a football with the laces facing the camera. Disick captioned the shot with "Laces out." In another close-up photo, Reign's dark lashes and brows contrasted with his light hair. This isn't the first time Reign has switched up his hairstyle, as he previously rocked a mohawk after cutting his long locks last year.
The internet was quick to react to this post, questioning if this was an ethical choice, as Reign is just a minor. This new hairdo was posted just days after Kourtney debuted her platinum blonde bob look to her Instagram followers as she showed off her sexy leather look.

Kourtney is no stranger to experimenting with her looks as she recently sported a platinum blonde bob and shared her pictures on Instagram. The 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' star chose to be seated on a casino slot machine while flaunting her new hairdo. She paired an oversized white t-shirt with a striking black leather mini skirt. She shared the post with a quote from Hunter S Thompson's 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'. The captions read, "Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.''
Kourtney and Disick had their ups and downs and split for good in 2015 after dating for nearly 10 years. But they always come together for the sake of their children, and this new hairdo might just be one of those instances. It is hard to say if Reign's new look was inspired by his mother, Kourtney. But both these hair makeovers were perfectly timed and posted within a few days' gap.
Internet outraged with Reign's new look
Reign's new makeover did not sit right with the people of the internet. Scott and Kourtney were slammed for dyeing a minor's hair. One user commented, "Handsome boy. He’s very young to be having his hair dyed. Children's hair is finer and they’re more sensitive to bleach. Don’t understand why you would do this." while another said, "Mama is a freak about eating healthy, but bleaches this little boys hair. 🤣" Some users were really concerned about the health hazards associated with coloring one's hair. They said, "Oh my🤔 There’s a reason why chemicals are kept away from children. The order alone is enough."
Hate against the couple also poured in with some comments like, "@kourtneykardash is always preaching organic and chemical free and then she allows bleach on her child’s scalp to die his hair… girl needs to get checked on her hypocrisy. I’m a hairstylist and bleach on anyone’s scalp isn’t great.. and especially on a child. HAIR BLEACH IS TOXIC." and "Kourtney is a bad mother. The way she trains her children is appalling. That’s why her siblings never makes her a Godmother." But most of the users pointed out on the post that Reign looks like a younger version of Justin Bieber as one commented, "That is Justin Bieber."
