Inside Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's luxurious $14.5M beach house in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA: Distancing themselves from the Kar-Jenner clan, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have reportedly bought a home in Santa Barbara. They bought former late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien's mansion for $14.5M. On October 17, Kourtney and Travis celebrated the one-year anniversary of their engagement. The couple married on May 22 in an intimate Italian ceremony.
The beach property is situated in the Santa Barbara suburb of Carpinteria which is also home to several other celebrities and not far from where Travis, 46, proposed to his now-wife Kourtney, 43, around this time last year. Since their marriage in May of this year, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have lived in separate Calabasas homes. The newlyweds bought their first house together and they are now having to split their time between two separate properties, reported The Sun.

The two-bedroom, 2,100-square-foot house is ideal for their huge family because Kourtney already has three kids, Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 7, from her previous marriage with Scott Disick, 39, while the Blink-182 drummer and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 47, have a son, Landon, 19, a daughter, Alabama, 17, and a stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, 23.
The gorgeous oceanfront home features a sizable built-in porch to enjoy the view and is only a short distance from the Pacific Ocean. For those long summer days spent at the beach, the house also has a barbecue grill and an outdoor shower. The couple traveled back to Santa Barbara last week to commemorate the proposal's 1 year anniversary and perhaps look for a home. Kourtney showed off her curves while splashing around in the surf with her husband, Travis, who was seen wearing a black T-shirt.
The purchase of the mansion in Santa Barbara reportedly fuels the persistent allegations that Kourtney has been quietly distancing herself from her sisters. Kourtney revealed the truth about her rivalry with Kim and Khloe earlier this month during an appearance on the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast.
According to podcast host Amanda Hirsch, Kourtney and Khloe used to have a close relationship. She reportedly talked about how the founder of Poosh and the youngest Kardashian sister, Khloe, used to be close friends while Kim was the "outsider." That dynamic, however, allegedly seems to have changed as Khloe and Kim have grown closer now and Kourtney has distanced herself from the pair.
Many other well-known celebrities live in Carpinteria, including filmmaker George Lucas and actors Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher, and Mila Kunis. Kourtney and Travis will have other famous neighbors as their new home is only four houses down from Ashton Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis's beachfront property.
