Hilarity ensues after fitness influencer asks old man to move from park bench

LONDON, ENGLAND: A hilarious exchange between an influencer and an "old man" in a park during a livestream has gone viral. The woman, who wasn't identified, was streaming when she was interrupted by the passerby who refused to move out of her frame, sparking what some have described as the most British argument ever.

The fitness influencer was seen in the viral clip live streaming to her followers from a public park in the UK after her morning run. She was explaining to her followers a little bit about her morning exercises when a man entered the shot and sat down on a bench right behind her while the stream continued.

'This is a bench that I sit on every day'

“I’ve just run 5k today. I’ve been eating healthy, staying hydrated, but it’s a bit hard when it’s cold in the morning,” the woman tells the camera before an older man enters the frame and sits on a bench in the backdrop. Breaking her monologue, the influencer asks the man to move to another bench. "Excuse me. I'm just filming, are you alright to go to another park bench?" she asks. The man refuses, sparking the minutes-long back and forth between the two. “This is a bench that I sit on every day. There’s plenty of room in this park, isn’t there love?” he notes. The influencer, after several minutes of arguing, tells the "old man" that he was "ruining" her stream. “They are wanting to see me in the shot, not you … They don’t want to see an old man,” she says. The passerby then accuses her of "ageism" and waves to her followers in jest.

'Your followers? You’re Jesus now are you?'

After a good couple of minutes of bickering, the man comes up with some of the most outrageous one-liners. "You're going to be online now for everyone to see you," the influencer tells him, who responds nonchalantly, "I don't care at all," adding, "Look, if you don't like the answer, don't ask the question." The two continue going back and forth for some time. "My followers, I know, will not want to see you," she explains, to which the gent retorts, "Your followers? You’re Jesus now are you?" He then describes her as part of the "snowflake brigade" before she finally concedes and moves on to film somewhere else.

Majority of netizens echoed the old man's sentiment, accusing the influencer of being "entitled." "She’s upset because she wasn’t 'asking', she was 'expecting'. Asking may result in a yes or no. He politely said no and she wouldn’t accept that. Cheers to the man for teaching her a lesson," one tweeted. "Entitled modern female met with reality outside of her TikTok’s. She will definitely write a blog about this man that he was a creep, misogynist, and that she was oppressed in the park. Welcome to the modern entitlement victim world!" another chimed in.

"Jesus Christ, is it a personality trait of 'influencers' to be self-centered narcissists?" someone else offered. "I’m pretty sure this will be the young influencer’s most popular video so far," a comment read. "This man is my spirit animal," another quipped
