'In the Dark' Season 2 Episode 11: Fans brace for Sam to be the big villain as she seeks revenge for Nia
Spoilers for 'In the Dark' Season 2 Episode 11 'Bad People'
Last week's episode of 'In the Dark' on The CW saw the death of a major anti-hero, Nia Bailey (Nicki Micheaux), the Chicago crime boss and drug lord who had blackmailed Murphy Mason (Perry Mattfeld), Jess Damon (Brooke Markham) and Felix Bell (Morgan Krantz) into laundering money for her. Murphy and Felix also ended up dealing drugs for her after Murphy bargained to save Max Parrish (Casey Deidrick) from Nia's people.
However, Murphy's struggles are far from over. Having handed over Nia's latest drug shipment to Guiding Hope's now-former receptionist, Ben (Chris Perfetti), they now have to scramble to find the drugs to give to Nia's competitor, Josiah (Maurice Compte). The worst thing is that Murphy and her friends have to be worried about someone else much more: Nia's henchwoman, Sam (Cortni Vaughn Joyner). After Sam finds out about Nia's death, she is hellbent on killing the "Guiding Hope kids." In fact, Sam wanted to get everyone responsible for Nia's death which also meant killing her colleague, Vincent (Aidan Devine), for failing to protect Nia.
As such, viewers are bracing for Sam to become a major villain. A fan tweeted, "Sam is priming for a takeover. Oh man! #InTheDark," while another wrote, "Sam is now the one being too emotional. #InTheDark." Fans were shocked by her shooting of Vincent, with one tweeting, "#InTheDark OMG.. THAT CRAZY B***H!!! She just Got her own guy... That's sooo COLD!!!" Another opined, "#InTheDark And..yeah!! Tell me you saw that coming!!! That b***h cray cray..!!!"
Viewers also started speculating on Sam's next moves. One fan tweeted, "I'm just waiting for Sam to report her car as stolen #Inthedark," however, another responded, "Nah. She wants to take them out herself. #InTheDark."
Meanwhile, as the group hurried to bury Nia's and Ben's bodies, Murphy and Max got a little distracted and this is while Murphy was starting to develop feelings for another character, leaving Max jealous. While they were supposed to be digging, they instead had a quick one in the woods. A fan tweeted, "YES! MAX AND MURPHY IN THE WOODS AFTER BURYING BODIES. #InTheDark Zoey and Boxer parallel! LOVE!! #whitelines." Another fan joked, "I wish Max would pin me against a tree and do me in the freezing winter while we bury some bodies."
A fan opined, "They have barely dug up this hole and these two are screwing in the woods. I would be so PISSED. I swear Max and Murphy their relationship crap get on my nerves. I would be so angry! #InTheDark."
