Rapper, singer, and record producer Mac Miller died at the age of 26 from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol. 911 responders who arrived at his San Fernando Valley home around noon on September 7, found his lifeless body, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Celebrities who died in 2018: Burt Reynolds (actor), aged 82
The beloved actor, director and producer died from a heart attack at the Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida, on September 6. His ex-wife issued a statement announcing his death, where she said she would miss him and "his great laugh".

The musician and civil rights activist, best known as “The Queen of Soul,” was gravely ill for a couple of days before she died at her Detroit home on August 16. Her influence was visible in the huge memorial service attended by thousands including Faith Hill, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
Celebrities who died in 2018: Richard Swift (musician), aged 41
The musician and short filmmaker died of an undisclosed "life-threatening condition" on July 3 in Tacoma. After his death, the family disclosed that after a year-long battle with alcohol addiction, Richard died of "complications from hepatitis, as well as liver and kidney distress."
Celebrities who died in 2018: XXXTentacion (rapper), aged 20
XXXTentacion, best known for his uniquely "depressing, and at times devastating" Hip Hop music, was killed during a shootout in Deerfield Beach, Florida, around 3.55 pm June 18. Four people were arrested for his murder. After an open casket service, the rapper’s body was entombed in a mausoleum.
Celebrities who died in 2018: Anthony Bourdain (celebrity chef), aged 61
Celebrity chef and host of CNN's 'Parts Unknown,' Anthony Bourdain, was found dead by his travel partner Éric Ripert at a hotel room in France. Toxicology results found Bourdain committed suicide in an "impulsive act" on June 8. He was cremated in France and his ashes were returned to the U.S.

The Irish actor best known for his role as Keith McGrath in ‘Sons of Anarchy’ was found dead by his girlfriend in the hallway of her apartment. O’Neil, who was diagnosed with Coronary artery disease, reportedly died of complications from head trauma, as a result of being intoxicated.

The beloved fashion designer, who was also sister-in-law to comedian David Spade was found dead in her Manhattan apartment June 5. According to her husband Andy Spade, Kate hung herself to death after years of struggling with depression and anxiety.

The comedian best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers film series, died on April 21 due to possible alcohol poisoning. Although the cause of the death was not revealed immediately, it has since been confirmed as suicide.

Born Tim Bergling, Swedish DJ Avicii died April 20 in Oman. Although the cause of death was not immediately disclosed, on April 26, his family released a statement that said he "really struggled with thoughts about meaning, life, happiness.
