‘I’m not Brad Pitt but...’: Single dad, 42, says he'd rather be alone forever than date ‘UGLY WOMEN'
SCOTLAND, UK: A single dad refuses to date ugly women even though he could be single forever. Kevin, 42, a single dad from Scotland openly admits that he has pretty high standards when it comes to dating, but he won't lower them for anyone even though he knows he ain't no Brad Pitt himself. He insists he can only fall in love with a person who ticks all of his boxes and he promised never to compromise or settle just for the sake of settling.
“I’m not into ugly women,” he told The Sun. “I’m not saying I’m Brad Pitt, but I know I can pull reasonable women. It does make it harder to find someone if you’re only going for the high-end appearance. Your work is going to be a lot harder, and loads of other men are probably going to be after them. But I’m just not willing to settle for second best. I realize I could be on my own for a long time.” In TikTok, Kevin, a machinist goes by @boerboelblade2 and typically posts, videos about his dog, a Boerboel named Blade.

Kevin's ideal woman
Kevin has been in a long-term relationship and stayed with his partner but has been single on and off for the past three years. He dated someone he met on TikTok at the end of last year, but the relationship didn't last. The pubs are no longer a place for Kevin to meet people since he stopped drinking years ago. His experience with dating apps has not been positive. He’s had some success on the dating app Plenty of Fish but says Tinder was a flop. He said, “A lot of women just don’t get back to you. The majority never message you. If you do get a message from a girl I can guarantee you she will be someone that’s not that good-looking. I’ve lowered my standards before and I never enjoyed it. I’ll not be doing it again," he added.
Kevin's ideal girlfriend is pretty, busty, and has long hair. He does believe that one day he will find the perfect partner. “Finding the right person in life is a real thing. I’ve never met that person. I hope I do,” he said, speaking to The Sun. But he also admitted that he’s happy to remain a lonely heart for as long as it takes for that person to walk through the door. Kevin added, “People always ask me why I’m single. “I could have a girlfriend. I’m decent looking. I make decent money. But lots of men are single because they want to be and they refuse to settle. It’s a lifestyle choice,” he further added.
His 'icks' when dating women
Earlier this week, he posted a video on the social media platform about his "icks" when dating women, saying that he dislikes "broken boomerang bitches" and people who are too big.“I want a woman like a rough diamond, basically,” he explained in the video, which is seeing an unsurprising backlash. “I’ve dated some women who are a wee bit on the heavy side that are good-looking, so I quite like that, right? As long as you’re good-looking and got a nice set of boobs, I’m interested.”
In the five-minute video, he also expresses his dislike for women who keep their hair up because, in his opinion, it makes them appear "pineapple-like," and he asserted that having sex is a "huge" component of any relationship. He was called out by several viewers in the TikTok video's comments section, and many of them couldn't believe what they were hearing. “And that’s why you are single,” one person commented. “That obvious misogyny will get you locked up pal”. While another added, “Then you’ll get all the sex you deserve.” Kevin, however, argued in the comments section that it was only a comedy sketch, stating, "Some home truths hahaha is only a comedy sketch," as per the New York Post.
