Lil Wayne took to Twitter on January 29, and hinted that he is finally ready to settle down. He wrote: "I need a wife man I'm getting too wealthy.".

The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., had been in an on and off relationship with Denise Bidot. Lil Wayne also sparked rumors of having 'tied the knot' with Bidot back in April 2021. Wayne had written a tweet that read, "Happiest man alive!" and then added, "Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters," that lead fans to believe that the 'Ain't Got Time' rapper had gotten married to Bidot.

The rumors of the duo getting married had also been elevated by Wayne, who had posted a very romantic video of the two of them where Bidot was seen writing their names on the sand and drawing a heart around it before blowing a kiss towards the camera. The clip was accompanied by an unreleased song in which the lyrics went, 'let's spell our name on the sand and draw a heart around it.

Soon after the rumors surfaced, Wayne shut them all down while on an Instagram live with friend Nicki Minaj who asked him on the live video if he had gotten married. Wayne responded to her saying "No. I'm so glad you asked me that. I did not get married," confirming to his fans that the rumors were not true.

However, it is unclear if Wayne is dating Bidot at present. Lil Wayne and Denise Bidot's relationship has had a ragged timeline with the couple going on and off due to various reasons. The pair made their relationship official in January 2020 after which they parted ways in November, the same year after Wayne expressed his support for Donald Trump in a public manner. The couple has broken up multiple times since then and both their relationship statuses are currently unclear.
