MOSCOW, IDAHO: Washington State University's PhD student Bryan Kohberger was arrested on December 30 for allegedly killing four Idaho students in their home. While Kohberger entered two rooms in the house, where the four victims were present, he allegedly did not enter two rooms that were occupied by Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen - the two survivors. Since the news broke, several web sleuths have asked why Mortensen did not call 911 after seeing killer Bryan Kohberger at around 4 am on the night of the murders. Now, new details about Mortensen have been revealed from a source who claims to be in her "inner circle."

The University of Idaho students, Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves were brutally murdered on November 13 in their Idaho apartment. While best friends Goncalves and Mogen were found dead in a room on the third floor, Ethan's body was found dead in the doorway and his girlfriend, Xana, who had defensive wounds, was stabbed in her room on the second floor. Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen, the two surviving roommates, slept on the first floor.

A person who claims to be Dylan Mortensen's close friend's boyfriend revealed new details about the case, according to a YouTube video by Harsh Reality. In the video, the anonymous person said, "Dylan wasn't shocked that night or frozen, she was just standing in her doorway normally and yelled at Ethan, Xana and someone she thought was their friend to be quiet. She had no clue that anything was going on." He added, "She's new to the house and didn't want to be nosey. She didn't get a real good look at the intruder - she thought it was one of Ethan's friends who was getting ready to leave and walking out." The person also claimed that the feds "threw her under the bus" and were "aggressive" with her.

Dylan Mortensen heard someone 'crying'

According to an affidavit filed by police officer Brett Payne, who was among the first respondents at the crime scene, Mortensen and Funke, referred to as BF and DM in government documents, were inside the house when their roommates were murdered. "DM stated she originally went to sleep in her bedroom on the southeast side of the second floor. DM stated she was awoken at approximately 4 am by what she stated sounded like Goncalves playing with her dog in one of the upstairs bedrooms, which were located on the third floor. A short time later, DM said she heard who she thought was Goncalves say something to the effect of 'there's someone here.'" Payne added, "DM stated she opened her door a second time when she heard what she thought was crying coming from Kernodle's room. DM then said she heard a male voice say something to the effect of 'it's ok, I'm going to help you.'"

Dylan Mortensen actually mistook the noises thinking that there were roommates horsing around, that perhaps all that noise that she was hearing was them being boisterous and still in party mode," a source recently interviewed by Newsweek claimed.
