Jeremy Best: 'Armed and dangerous' suspect at large after he murdered his wife and kidnapped their infant son
VICTOR, IDAHO: An "armed and dangerous" suspect is currently on the run after he reportedly killed his wife and kidnapped their infant son, authorities have reported.
Kali Jean Randall, 38, was found dead by authorities in their home in Victor, Idaho, on Thursday evening, November 30, Teton County Sheriff's Office said in a statement, adding that her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Kalli's husband, Jeremy Albert Best has been named a suspect in her death and is also a suspect in the alleged kidnapping of their infant son Zeke Gregory Best, the statement said. “She was absolutely a genuine beautiful soul,” Kali’s brother Brian Randall said through tears.

When were the authorities informed about the incident?
Authorities responded to the home late Thursday night after receiving a 911 call, during which the dispatcher heard a “disturbance ... over the line,” the statement said.
They found Randall unresponsive upon arrival. An Amber Alert has been issued for 10-month-old Zeke, the sheriff’s office said.
“Teton County Sheriff is requesting assistance with homicide and child abduction,” the Amber Alerts says. Idaho State Police sent it out around 3.50 am, East Idaho News reports. “Child was taken by homicide suspect, unknown direction of travel. Suspect is believed to be heavily armed and dangerous, please do not approach.”

Kali was an artist who made handcrafted jewelry and formerly worked as a veterinarian technician, Brian said. On Kali’s social media, she documented her life as an artist as well as her life with Best.
The two met in 2009, as confirmed by Brian; they married in September 2022, her posts on social media show.
Brian said he was not aware of any conflicts between the couple and that he'd thought of Best as “a normal guy.” However, that has changed now, he said, adding, "Sometimes maybe you don't know people.”
Police gave out a description of the suspect
Jeremy Best took off with Zeke Best and their location is unknown, investigators say.
He is 5’11, weighs 245 lbs., has brown hair that is greying, green eyes and a greying beard. He is driving a 1995 black Chevy Tahoe with Idaho license plate #1T39349.
"Members of the public who have information on the whereabouts of the suspect, vehicle or endangered child should call 208-354-2323 or 911 immediately," authorities stated. "Please do not approach or attempt to confront the suspect."
