MOSCOW, IDAHO: The Internet is still engaged in conversations about the tragic killings of four University of Idaho students, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and Xana Kernodle, 20. A recent discussion on Reddit shared the picture of Kaylee given by her mother, Kristi Goncalves. This left the Internet heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Bryan Kohberger, 28, a Former PhD scholar in Criminal Justice from Washington State University, has been arrested for the murders. A user said, "Kaylees mom shares a picture of her. “I absolutely love this pic of her. It just really sums up who she was. She was at a cougs pub (rival school) and she wrote her name and soroity on the wall.“

To which another responded, " It’s just so heartbreakingly senseless. She deserved to graduate and go on to live the rest of her life." A user then responded, "Enjoying her life... as she still should be. Such a loss!!" "She was just finding herself. Such a loss to our world," claimed another user. Another user added, "Kaylee and Maddie were two grades above me. Went to the same high school. They were always those girls on instagram all of us freshman would look at just wanting to be like them. Their whole entire friend group actually. I specifically have memories of looking at Maddie’s page just knowing that’s how I want to be when I’m that age. Although now it seems and little weird we we’re constantly wanting to be like them, but that’s also my point. They were those girls that everyone strived to be. So absolutely beautiful with such a good soul. They drew positive energy towards them constantly… breaks my heart that this happened. May they all rave in peace ✌🏻 🫶🏻."
A user claimed, "Ugh the world lost four really beautiful angels with their whole lives ahead of them!! Ripped from them the families they would have had, the little people they would have raised themselves, the love and happiness they would have spread. Replaced with horror, sadness for all who loved them, a lifetime of pain without them. How anyone could do this morally, ethically and actually quite frankly physically is just unimaginable to me! I was thinking of how scared I am even cutting veggies with a knife (two partners of mine have now injured themselves with knives cutting vegetables)."
The user continued, "I use this little dull knife that is really pathetic and I've even cut the end of it off so it's not pointy but can still cut. I'm a baby. The thought of what those poor poor kids went though is too much for me - In their own homes, surrounded by friends - where they should have been safe. It's unimaginable. The thought however of being in BK shoes and being able to do something so horrific and random, to strangers, is just MORE unimaginable. I just honestly can't even stand to think how how how why why why." Another added, "These poor precious angels :( the worst part is that no matter what happens, they are gone forever. nothing can bring them back. that’s the hardest part to accept, that no amount of “cracking” the case will fix or undo their deaths. it isn’t fair." "Kaylee is the spitting image of Kristi. Ugh seeing her so happy hurts my heart," wrote another user. A comment read, "She was full of life. It's heartbreaking."
Meanwhile, Kohberger appeared in court after returning to Idaho and was denied bail. He is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and a count of felony burglary
