MOSCOW, IDAHO: On November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students—Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves—were fatally stabbed. The suspect, Bryan Christopher Kohberger, is the target of their alleged murders. Kohberger was detained on December 30 in Pennsylvania before being transferred to Idaho for a hearing. Few new details about the night of the murder have been revealed by a source to News Nation, that weren't earlier discovered.
The source has disclosed that Xana was the last target of the killer, as the new details have laid the order of sequence of how the murder took place during the early hours of November 13. Banfield, anchor of the News Nation on the basis of sources, has reported that "Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle were killed on the second floor afterward." The couple was stabbed after Mogen and Goncalves were killed.

How did Ethan Chapin die? Idaho victim was killed outside GF Xana Kernodle's room, sources claim
After stabbing the two females, Chapin was killed "in the doorway of Xana Kernodle's room before the killer set upon Xana." She was the last victim of the assassin, as she was "fierce" and a had fight with the killer as she repeatedly grabbed the "attacker's knife." Banfield also said, "Also want to tell you that from these two sources that, Xana Kernodle put up a fierce fight when the attacker set upon her, repeatedly grabbing the attacker's knife, so much so that she sustained deep cuts to her fingers and that her fingers were nearly severed."
However, Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt reported the same and said, "The autopsy report also claimed that among the four students, Xana Kernodle had 'defensive wounds.'" Talking about Kernodle's fight with the killer, her father, Jeff Kernodle, said that on the basis of the autopsy, one thing is clear that strong-willed Xana fought her assailant all the way to the end. "Bruises, torn by the knife. She's a tough kid. Whatever she wanted to do, she could do it," said Jeff, as reported by Arizona.
About Xana's DoorDash delivery
University of Idaho student, Xana, received a DoorDash delivery less than 20 minutes before being fatally stabbed in her home, according to an arrest report, as reported by MEAWW. The 20-year-old's last meal, which was apparently purchased from Jack in the Box, was allegedly delivered by a driver at 4 am, according to the probable cause affidavit, outside the 1122 King Road home in Moscow. Photos taken at the residence by the New York Post appear to confirm this.
Death of Xana Kernodle as per affidavit
As per phone records, Xana was using TikTok at 4.12 am, demonstrating that she was still awake and alive, as MEAWW previously reported. She was reportedly stabbed between 4.00 and 4.25 in the morning, as per affidavit. Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, the other two occupants of the house, escaped unharmed. Further, the police affidavit states that Mortensen observed Kohberger leave home at around 4.17 am.
