'I started to scream': Hilaria Baldwin reveals she was a crying mess after devastating 2019 miscarriage
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Witches Anonymous' host Hilaria Baldwin recently shared on her podcast what she went through after a miscarriage in 2019 at 16 weeks pregnant. The fitness guru opened up about the emotional trauma she was going through and immediately called her husband, Alec Baldwin, who happened to be on a public bus. "I just didn't know what to do," she recalled. "I walked many, many, many blocks. I was just crying and walking."
The 38-year-old experienced a "weird feeling" when she "couldn’t feel the baby" moving and decided to get an ultrasound appointment that day. “[The ultrasound tech] puts the wand on my belly, and the baby [was] not moving,” said Hilaria. “She was dead.” The former yoga instructor had posted a heartbreaking update through a video with eldest child Carmen, “I couldn’t handle people congratulating me, and people write me all the time congratulating me. I told my daughter. I hope it wasn’t throwing too much on her plate. But she had to know the truth.”

Hilaria talked about she can’t remember how much she cried while mourning the pregnancy loss back then, “couldn’t believe how many tears, You fall asleep and you wake up and remember that it’s true.” The mother explained her decision to welcome daughter Lucia with the help of a surrogate, “I [thought] if I put [the embryo] inside of me, it’s going to be a death sentence. I was going to try to house her, just like I tried to house the babies I conceived naturally, and I was going to kill her.” Though, she did give birth to her son Eduardo, five months before Lucia arrive in February 2021. The following year, Hilaria and Alec, 64, welcomed Ilaria in September, reports PageSix.
When asked about what’s her plan for having babies in the future, Hilaria, told US Weekly in October, “Only time will tell.” She said jokingly, “I would have said before [that I’m] definitely done. Seven kids in, I feel like I am. But it’s Alec and me.” Alec separated from his ex-wife Kim Basinger in 2002, with whom he shares a daughter Ireland, 27.
A couple of weeks ago, fans slammed Alec for sharing a photograph of choreographer Halyna Hutchins, who died in an accident on the sets of the ‘Rust’ movie. He captioned the picture, “One year ago today,” which many netizens found crude and disgraceful. It is believed that the former SNL star had reached a settlement with Hutchins’ family subject to the court’s approval. Hilaria and Alec share 7 children, Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, Lucia, 1, and Ilaria, 2 months.
