LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'I Used To Be Funny', which recently premiered at the 2023 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film and TV festival, is writer-director Ally Pankiw's feature debut. The film is about a stand-up comedian who is suffering from PTSD and is deliberating whether she should join the quest for a missing teenage girl she used to babysit.

'I Used To Be Funny' received positive reviews following its premiere at the 2023 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film and TV festival and is now ready for audiences to see. Barn 12, Ontario Creates, and Partizan produced the film, with James Weyman, Jason Aita, and Breann Smordin serving as producers. Rachel Sennott Sabrina Jalees, Caleb Hearon, Olga Petsa, Dani Kind, and Jason Jones star in the comedy-drama. Ames Bessada composed the music for the film while Curt Lobb oversaw the editing.
