'I'm happy I crossed the line': Kanye West doubles down on antisemitic comments
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Rapper Kanye West officially known as simply "Ye," thrives on controversy. As he exited the premiere of Candace Owen's new documentary on Wednesday night, West spoke to Page Six about the several companies that had dumped him as a brand following his recent social media outbursts. These companies included Adidas and JPMorgan Chase.
His detractors claim that Kanye intentionally offend people in order to draw attention to himself and his music. After all, any attention is better than none. Anything that will get your name in the newspaper. West's antisemitic remarks over the weekend led to his dismissal from JP Morgan Chase.

Kanye posted a discussion snapshot with Diddy from their texting exchange on Instagram, in which he said, "This ain’t a game. Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.” In a short time, he found himself unable to access his account. After this, West proceeded to Twitter, where he said, "I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Antisemitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.” Even that account was inaccessible to him after this.
“Hey, if you call somebody out for bad business, that means you’re being antisemitic. I feel happy to have crossed the line of that idea so we can speak openly about things like getting canceled by a bank,” the 45 years old told Page Six photographers, before calling himself “the richest black man in American history.” A truck passing by interrupted West, 45, as he spoke about JP Morgan Chase in particular. He subsequently opted to "speak at a different time."
Owens stated earlier on October 12 that JP Morgan Chase had given West until November to find a new bank to house his multibillion-dollar brand Yeezy. “I was told there was no official reason given, but they sent this letter as well to confirm that he has until late November to find another place for the Yeezy empire to bank,” she tweeted along with a photo of the notice.

In August, West started speaking out against the brand, claiming that he was frustrated with the company's claimed decision-making surrounding their relationship without consulting him. After the controversy over West's "White Lives Matter" shirt, Adidas said last week that their relationship with the rapper was "under review." The company announced in a statement Thursday, per CNBC, “After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review." The statement continued, “We will continue to co-manage the current product during this period.” Kanye replied on Instagram, writing, “F–K ADIDAS I AM ADIDAS ADIDAS RAPED AND STOLE MY DESIGNS.”
