Hunter Biden ordered to appear in Arkansas court as judge slams hold-up in Lunden Roberts lawsuit
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS: A judge has ordered Hunter Biden to appear in person for his paternity case in an Arkansas court. Attorneys for Lunden Roberts claim that 53-year-old Hunter hasn't offered "a single item or word of discovery" in their continuing child support dispute.
Biden has been ordered to show up in court on Monday, May 1, by Independence County Circuit Judge Holly Meyer because his absence is "interfering with the process of litigation," according to DailyMail. In a document filed on Friday, April 21, the attorneys for Roberts argued that the recovering drug user should be held at the Cleburne County Detention Center until he complies with a court order to turn over the documents.

'I want both at every hearing'
Meyer said, "From now on... I want both of your clients at every hearing I conduct. I will no longer allow us to excuse clients because it is interfering with the progress of litigation, which is taking way too long to get over simple points," according to DailyMail. The judge made her most recent demands after becoming impatient at a Zoom hearing on Monday, April 24.
The judge's comment was made in response to Brent Langdon, who represents Hunter Biden in the paternity dispute, stating that his laptop was still in need of repair. He is now required to appear in person at the hearing, which is scheduled to begin at 9 am on Monday, May 1 at the Independence County courtroom in Batesville, Arkansas.
'He is afraid to leave the White House'
The judge's order led to Hunter Biden being pilloried on Twitter. One person wrote, "Now he has to come out in public. Good time to be served." Another person tweeted, "Arkansas court isn't going to play his game of favored treatment lmao."
A third noted, "Would be great to see Hunter show up and tell the Judge it could be my laptop or maybe it's not my laptop." Another wrote, "I think Hunter is afraid to leave the White House." Someone else said, "I'll believe it when I see it."
