'Succession' Season 4 Episode 9: Fans demand 'one more season' after catastrophic penultimate episode
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans were left devastated when HBO announced that ‘Succession’ will come to an end with its fourth season and they already knew that they will get their hearts broken as the season progresses. However, the HBO series is delivering a masterclass in devastation and knocked it out of the park with one of the best penultimate episodes in recent television history. The show took the world by storm when Logan Roy (Brian Cox) died in the third episode of the fourth and final season. Now, it was time to say a “proper” goodbye to the patriarch at a funeral that saw Ewan taking the stage.
As soon as Ewan took the stage and gave a fiery speech, Roman lost control of his emotions. He took the stage, but couldn’t give the eulogy because he started crying uncontrollably. Roman (Kieran Culkin) was taken off the stage and his other siblings – Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Shiv (Sarah Snook) - Roman has actually lost his mind and realized all the mistakes he committed in his life. He went on to become a part of the protest but was knocked down to the ground by the protestors. People walked and ran over him as he lay on the ground.

Elsewhere, Kendall and Shiv took this opportunity to show how fit they are to sit on the throne. The speeches they gave were PR stunts for their organization, with them hailing their father as a visionary and a hero.

There’s so much to unpack and only one episode remains. How will they ever be able to give proper closure to every story? Well, fans had the same question on their minds after the penultimate episodes and demanded HBO give them “one more season.”One of the fans wrote, “One more season!” Another social media user tweeted, “How the f**k is there only one episode left? Fans are really anxious about what is going to happen and the promo for the series finale has already made people emotional. It turns out Kendall and Shiv will be at war with each other as they get ready for one final battle for the throne. It would be interesting to see who turns out to be the winner.
