SAINT KITTS, WEST INDIES: 'America's Got Talent' alum and magician Scott Alexander has died at the age of 52. The news of his death was revealed on social media by his wife Jennifer Alexander.
In the heartbreaking post, Jennifer said that her children lost their father and the family is 'shattered' after his sudden demise. She also mentioned that he was working on a cruise ship when this tragic incident took place.

How did magician Scott Alexander die?
Scott died after having a stroke while he was working on a cruise ship on Sunday, February 5. "I lost my husband yesterday. My kids lost their father. He suffered a stroke while working on a cruise ship in St Kitts and did not make it home to us. We are shattered. Please hold us in your prayers," Jennifer posted on Instagram announcing Alexander's death.
His wife also competed alongside him and was part of the reality series for season six. The magician competed on America's Got Talent until his elimination in the quarterfinals. The duo who shared three children lived in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
During one of his levitation acts, judge Howie Mandell expressed "That was really done well!" while Sharon Osbourne remarked, "I love the twist you've put on it, it's really different," and Pier Morgan exclaimed, "Carried it off well, a bit of pizazz." This magical act among numerous other acts excited both the judges and the audience which helped him qualify his entry to the next round of the show. Apart from America's Got Talent, he was also part of Penn & Teller: Fool Us where he competed in season two.
According to TMZ, the magician leaves behind his wife and their three children.

Following the news of Alexander's death broke out, fellow entertainers and fans expressed their grief at the loss of their beloved magician. Daredevil Jonathan Goodwin tweeted, "A brilliant and creative magician left us today. Scott Alexander was fab, and he gifted us with great performances and awesome material which will take his name forward. A real loss. Scott was one of the really good ones. #RIPScottAlexander."

One fan wrote, "We lost another one of the greats. Sad day," while another said, "This one gutted me no doubt. Such a stand-up person. Will be missed," and someone tweeted, "What a sad day. An incredible and kind performer."
