Bobby "Beautiful" Eaton has died aged 62 on August 4. His sister Debbie Eaton Lewis broke the sad news to the world via a Facebook post and fans of the pro wrestling legend are mourning his death. His fans from across the globe have taken to social media to send in tributes for the man who was a pioneer in the art of tag team wrestling. Eaton worked with various promotions which included Mid-America Wrestling, Continental Wrestling Association, Mid-South Wrestling, WCCW, Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, and Smoky Mountain Wrestling. He also made appearances for ECW and TNA and he truly was legendary when he stepped into the ring. 

Speaking of wrestlers who died in the recent past, Lucha Libre star Super Porky passed on July 26. The cause of his death wasn't known immediately but months before his passing, he had become confined to his bed because his legs couldn't support his weight. Del Wilkes aka 'The Patriot' died this year as well, aged 59 following a massive heart attack. Joseph "Jocephus" Hudson died in February this year leaving his fans saddened and shocked. The legendary wrestler from the '80s and '90s, Butch Reed, also passed away in February aged 66 following a long struggle with health issues.

How did Bobby Eaton die?

Bobby Eaton's sister wrote, "I never wanted to have to post this but my little brother Beautiful Bobby Eaton passed away last night. When I find out all the details I will post them. Bobby was the kindest loving person you would ever meet. I loved him so much and going to miss him. Please say a prayer for my niece Taryn she found him. And she just lost her mom a little over a month ago." The cause of Eaton's death is yet to be revealed and we will update this article as soon as there are more details. Eaton had suffered a bad fall in July post which he was hospitalized. He had endured grave injuries after the incident. His fingers were broken and his hip was damaged, however, there's no confirmation yet if this was the reason for his death. 

Metal musician Frankie Kazarian is one of the thousands of fans who expressed their grief over Eaton's passing. "RIP Bobby Eaton. A friend, and an absolute master of the craft of professional wrestling. A man whom I hope will get the recognition that he undeniably deserves. It was my pleasure to know, watch and learn from you. Our industry is a better place because of you. Godspeed sir," he tweeted. Wrestler, actor and recording artist Jessie Godderz aka Mr Pec-Tacular tweeted, "Rest in Peace to the great Bobby Eaton. An amazing, legendary wrestler who has left behind an historic legacy. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. #RIPBobbyEaton #RIPBobby" Wrestler Joey Janela wrote, "RIP to one half of the midnight express and one of to he greatest workers of all time “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, condolences to his friends and family"

Who was Bobby Eaton's wife?

Bobby Eaton was married to Donna Dundee, the daughter of Memphis wrestling superstar Bill Dundee. They had three children together - Dustin, Dylan, and Taryn. The Cauliflower Alley Club announced the news of her death on 26 June writing, “We send out our thoughts and prayers and sincerest condolences to Bobby Eaton and Bill Dundee and his family for the passing of Bobby’s wife Donna who is Bills daughter. Very sad news indeed. Rest in peace Donna Dundee Eaton.” The cause of Dundee's death who began dating Eaton secretly in the '70s and tied the knot after getting Bill's blessings has not been revealed.
