The Calvin-Miranda drama continues on 'House Of Payne'. In Episode 7, Miranda is desperate to meet Calvin at any cost even though he doesn't want her anywhere near him. She goes over to Ella's (Cassi Davis) house for some advice. Ella gives her the best advice she can: Pray to God. But Miranda isn't done yet.

Next, she goes around to CJ and Janine's house, making awkward conversation with Malik (Doc Shaw) and Jazmine (China Anne McClaine), who both figure out why exactly she is here. Calvin comes there but refuses to talk to her. Later, Calvin turns to Curtis (LaVan Davis) for advice and learns that his mother Ella has been speaking to Miranda and that riles him up further.

In Episode 8, he throws a fit and slams the door on Ella, who comes to his house and tells him off for disrespecting her. Later, Miranda comes home and shares a kiss with Calvin. In the upcoming Episode 9, Calvin considers dating someone else, just after his divorce with Miranda. The synopsis reads, "Miranda’s interested in giving Calvin a second chance. After his divorce, Calvin decides to date again until Miranda finds out that Calvin's new girlfriend know each other."

And in Episode 10, which will come right after that, the synopsis reads, "Calvin and Miranda’s divorce drama grows. Jazmine gets candid with Ella about wanting to have sex for the first time. Calvin doesn’t want anybody talking to Miranda, Including Ella."

So the Calvin-Miranda drama isn't about to end anytime soon. As we saw earlier, Jazmine had mentioned to Ella that she felt pressured to have sex, even though she wasn't entirely ready for it. This conversation follows right after Malik reveals his girlfriend is pregnant, a storyline that seems to have been put aside for the moment.

'Tyler Perry's House of Payne' Season 9 Episode 9 will release on September 30, 2020, at 8 pm ET on BET, followed by Episode 10 at 8.30 pm ET. The series has a weekly-release format with two back-to-back episodes dropping every Wednesday in the same time slot. So tune in folks for your weekly dose of laughter.
