'House Of Payne' Season 9 Episode 7 Preview: Is Miranda having second thoughts about divorcing Calvin?
Beneath all the fun and over-the-top humor, 'House Of Payne' touches upon some rather complex and emotional issues. In the previous episodes, we saw Jazmine Payne (China Anne McClain) struggling with intimacy issues, as well as Miranda Lucas-Payne (Keshia Knight Pulliam) having second thoughts about divorcing Calvin Payne (Lance Gross). Things are just going to get more interesting from here, going by the synopsis of the next two episodes.
‘Tyler Perry’s House of Payne’ Season 9 Episode 7 will release on September 23, 2020, at 8 pm ET on BET, followed by Episode 8 at 8.30 pm ET. The series follows a weekly-release format with two back-to-back episodes dropping every Wednesday in the same time slot.
In Episode 7, which is titled 'Love and Hate', the focus is on Miranda and the nagging doubts she has, regarding her marriage with Calvin. The synopsis reads, Miranda is having second thoughts about her and Calvin's divorce which leads to them running into each other." This track isn't going to end anytime soon, and continues in Episode 8 as well as the two seem unsure about their divorce. The synopsis for Episode 8 reads, "Miranda takes Calvin to court for more child support. CJ has had it with Lisa. Calvin and Miranda have mixed feelings about their divorce."
In Episode 5 Ella (Cassi Davis) tries to talk to Jazmine about what's troubling her. We know that Jazzy is rather upset about being pressured into sex and we would have gotten to the conversation a lot quicker had Curtis (LaVan Davis) not kept interrupting. Curtis intervenes several times, just to ask Ella for dinner. She keeps telling him to go and he keeps returning. Before telling Jazzy to 'give the relationship time', Ella manages to explain to Jazzy about why she tolerates Curtis's annoying mannerisms from time-to-time and gives a sermon about how men are the head of the household. In Episode 6, Calvin vents to Ella and Curtis that the divorce is taking a toll on him, while Miranda complains to Janine about how Calvin doesn't help her in child support.
