In the latest episode of 'House of Payne', Ella (Cassi Davis) takes Jazmine (China McClaine) aside in the hope she talks about what exactly is bothering her, regarding her relationship. Last week, we got a hint that Jazzy was rather upset and nervous as she was being pressurized to have sex. However, in what appears to be the most drawn-out conversation in the history of sitcoms, Curtis (LaVan Davis) does not give them any privacy as he keeps demanding that he wants dinner.

Ella keeps sending him away and he keeps returning, saying that he's hungry. Jazmine tries to put it politely to Ella that he's being rather disrespectful, but Ella gives the speech on how she is 'old fashioned' and that men are the head of the household, but hey don't worry, she puts her foot down when needed. The point being, men should look after women *cries tears of blood*.

Fans are not pleased with this reasoning and logic. Apart from criticising the show for its excruciatingly long scenes, fans were rather miffed with Curtis and Ella. "I feel like this is a good time to say that there’s a thin line between being head of house and being misogynistic. Curtis is on that line. #HouseOfPayne," a fan tweeted.

"While Curtis standing up there complaining, he could have started dinner himself #HouseOfPayne," another wrote.

"This 'take care of your man' thing is trash #HouseOfPayne," another tweeted.

"You can just tell a man wrote this #HouseOfPayne," another tweeted.

Meanwhile, others slammed Tyler Perry for the writing of the show. "i know Tyler loves to have his name on the creating, writing, directing and producing of his shows but sir, get some help PLEASE because the original House of Payne was never this awfully written. The audience can handle depth and evolution of these characters #HouseOfPayne," one wrote.

It might have taken ages to get to the point, but Ella finally tells Jazmine that she needs to take her time to have sex. Whew. That's it. That was the summary of the episode in one line.

'House of Payne' airs on BET on Wednesdays at 8 pm.
