Calvin Payne (Lance Gross) has moved on for good. He seems to be in love with Laura and has finally let go of his tumultuous relationship with  Miranda Lucas-Payne (Keshia Knight Pulliam). Or so, we think. Every time we believe that Calvin has taken a step forward, he has managed to get entangled with his ex-wife again. The two forgot that they shared a kiss just a while ago — a kiss that gave most of us hope — hope that this would be the end of this long-suffering drama. But it wasn't, because we saw that in the next episode, Calvin had brought Laura home to introduce to his parents. Laura meets Miranda, and the two realize that they both feel the same about Calvin. Laura decides to take a step back, leading to a furious Calvin throwing Miranda out of the house.

Calvin then goes to CJ and Janine's house, where he vents. They let slip that Miranda might just be stalking Calvin, a thought that seems to be nagging him. He begins to believe that it is a little too convenient that Miranda met Laura and she could have possibly set it up.

In Episode 11, Calvin tells Miranda that he doesn't want her to talk to anyone about him and she says she did not do so intentionally. Miranda revealed that she still has feelings for Calvin and that she wants him back. Seeing him with Laura hurts her, something that Calvin finds hard to believe. He gets overwhelmed, but not enough to take her back. Miranda was the one who did want the divorce in the beginning, but Calvin is no saint---just in case anyone forgot that.

Things seem to be getting serious between Calvin and Laura now, going by the synopsis, which reads, "A night out for poker at Calvin's is anything but friendly. Curtis revisits old habits while Laura and Calvin explore their new romance. Ella encourages Miranda to talk to Calvin." In the previous episode, Ella (Cassi Davis) and Curtis (LaVan Davis) got into a fight, as Ella found that Curtis was taking her for granted. She left the house, and he came back to apologize.

'House Of Payne' airs on BET, Wednesdays at 8 pm.
