Chrissy Teigen proud ‘p***y a** b***h’ tweet slamming Donald Trump was read in House hearing meant for Hunter Biden
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: During a testimony from former Twitter executives in front of Congress on February 8, Wednesday, a witness testified that the White House had previously requested the platform remove a Chrissy Teigen tweet insulting then-President Donald Trump. The only surprising element is that the hearing was not for Trump but on President Joe Biden's son Hunter. It was in relation to the requests from the government and the Joe Biden campaign about taking down particular tweets dealing with the president's son.
A recent investigation by House Republicans into Twitter's alleged "role in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story" has shed new light on the matter, as revealed through questioning of witness Anika Collier Navaroli by Representative Gerry Connolly, states Billboard. During the hearing Rep Maxwell Frost, a Democrat, had brought in the topic about Trump's interaction with the social media platform. Navaroli in her testimony revealed that at the time, White House wanted Twitter to take down a tweet "because it was a derogatory statement directed towards the president.” The tweet belonged to Teigen. The model and musician John Legend's wife is known for her outspoken nature on Twitter. She has been a source of controversy on the platform multiple times throughout the years. However, her most notable clash took place in 2019 when she went head-to-head with former president Trump.

Why was Chrissy Teigen mentioned in the Twitter hearing?
You might remember that Teigen tweeted, “lol what a p***y a** b***h. tagged everyone but me. an honor, mister president," in response to then-President Trump's Twitter insult of her and her husband, Legend, in 2019. Four years later, during a hearing of the House Oversight Committee, this very tweet was read out loud because Trump was so enraged by her reaction that his White House contacted Twitter to try to have it removed, as reported by The Cut.
....A man named @VanJones68, and many others, were profusely grateful (at that time!). I SIGNED IT INTO LAW, no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit. But now that it is passed, people that had virtually nothing to do with it are taking the praise. Guys like boring.....

Teigen responded with a short tweet criticizing Trump, using a term he famously uttered in the 'Access Hollywood' tape. "The White House almost immediately thereafter contacted Twitter to demand the tweet be taken down. Is that accurate?" Connelly asked as part of her questions. In reply Navroli, who worked for Twitter's content-moderation team at the time, told the Congress: “I do remember hearing we’d received a request from the White House to make sure we evaluated this tweet, and they wanted it to come down because it was a derogatory statement directed at the president. A representative then asked Navaroli to read the disputed tweet, which resulted in Teigen's description of Trump as a "p***y a** b****h" appearing in official House Committee records.
What was Chrissy Teigen's response?
Teigen is seemingly delighted by the new turn of events and even commented on the event on social media. She reposted the video of Navroli awkwardly attempting to read the profanity-laced tweet on Instagram and said, "I don't know how to go on after this," much to the joy of her devoted followers. "I...oh my god," the model wrote in response to a clip of the hearing on Twitter.
One Twitter user responding to Teigen's excited reaction said: "That it was read into the Congressional record is the most beautiful thing I have seen in quite some time." Another advised the model: "This quote should be embroidered on a pillow in your living room." One cheekily seconded Teigen, saying: "& she was right." Another pointed out how the tweet will be recorded in history: "That will live on in the history of this country."
