Hallmark recently announced its line-up of movies for Christmas and looks like we’ve found ourselves a series of holiday-themed films to binge-watch. One of the channel’s offerings ‘Holiday Date’ is a romantic-comedy starring Brittany Bristow and Matt Cohen which promises an enthralling yet fun watch this festive season. Plot
Brooke’s (Brittany Bristow) boyfriend breaks up with only a few days before Christmas. As her family is looking forward to hosting her partner, whom she has portrayed to be Mr. Perfect, Brooke decides to take Joel (Matt Cohen) home, asking him to pose as her boyfriend. But the act isn’t an easy task for Joel because he’s a Jew, who has never celebrated the holiday. However, his active participation and enthusiasm for the festival make up for his lack of experience. When the family learns about his Jewish origin, they are eager to involve his traditions in theirs. However, they turn suspicious when his true identity is unveiled.

Brittany Bristow will be seen as Brooke in ‘Holiday Date’. She is a Canadian actor-producer, known for films such as ‘Royal Matchmaker’, ‘Love Safari’ and ‘Wildlife Quest’.
Matt Cohen
Matt Cohen plays Brooke’s boyfriend Joel in ’Holiday Date’. His best known for his roles in teen dramas such as ‘Supernatural’ and ‘South of Nowhere’. He also gained fair recognition for essaying Griffin Munro in ‘General Hospital’.

Jeff Beesley has directed ‘Holiday Date’ from a script written by Karen Berger. While Kraige Wenman has worked on the story, Joey Plager serves as the executive producer. ‘Holiday Date’ is released under Crow Media Productions LLC with Harvey Kahn and Charles Cooper as the producers.
