There's just something about home-renovation shows. If you're in the midst of your own projects or starting to plan, they provide inspiration and instruction. HGTV has a whole host of shows such as 'Property Brothers: Forever Home', '100 Day Dream Home', 'Fixer to Fabulous and it's very easy to spend an entire afternoon binging episodes of them on the couch.
'Vacation House Rules' season 2 will air on Saturday, June 5 at 8 pm ET on HGTV.
Where to watch and how to live stream?
Apart from catching the television premiere of 'Vacation House Rules' Season 2, viewers who wish to view the show without cable can do so with a Discovery+ account. In 'Vacation House Rules', McGillivray will be seen harnessing his expertise in real estate and experience in the renovation domain to educate families on how they can unlock the full potential of their vacation homes. McGillivray will transform even the most neglected and tumbledown properties into impressive, functional, and profitable vacation homes for guests.
In Season 1, McGillivray added features like beer gardens and zen yoga retreats to the houses he was working on. Apart from that, he was also seen teaching property owners how to rent out their homes and earn top dollar while they are not inhibiting the space. In Season 2, the host will turn a gloomy cottage into a family-friendly retreat, a lakeside cabin to a five-star winter sanctuary, and an abandoned studio will be upgraded to a chic vacation rental.
The contractor and real estate agent has also appeared on DIY Network's 'Buyers Bootcamp' in 2018. He also features in his own web series called 'Scott’s House Call' wherein he helps fans find solutions to the problems that mar their properties in exchange for a home-cooked meal. The new show has already started to air in Canada, in April, since he's based there. McGillivray began shooting for Season 2 of 'VHR' even before Season 1 could premiere in the USA.
There is no trailer yet for Season 2 of 'Vacation House Rules'. However, first-time viewers can watch a sneak peek from a Season 1 episode to get an idea about what the show entails.
