We’ve all wondered at some point or another what our younger selves would say if they could see us now. That doesn’t end up being just a musing in Netflix’s Korean drama series, ‘Hello, Me!’. ‘Hello Me’ centers around 37-year-old Ban Ha-ni who finds herself professionally and personally dissatisfied, until an encounter with her younger self reminds her of how confident she used to be.

In total 32 episodes have been listed for 'Hello, Me!' but Netflix will receive a total of 16 episodes instead. This means that instead of receiving two 35-minute episodes, Netflix will receive one 70-minute episode.

Choi Kang-hee as Ban Ha-ni

Choi Kang-hee,43, is a South Korean actress and radio DJ. Choi made her film debut in the 1998 horror 'Whispering Corridors'. In 2006 she starred in 'My Scary Girl'. The low-budget film was a sleeper hit and earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 27th Blue Dragon Film Awards. She also has her own clothing brand, 'Nowhere333'. In October 2006, Choi was awarded a silver medal by the Korea National Red Cross in recognition of her frequent blood donations. A year later she became the first Korean celebrity to donate bone marrow, having pledged as a donor in 1999.

Kim Young-kwang as Han Yoo-hyun

Before becoming famous, Kim Young-kwang now an actor and model, delivered newspapers as a young man, to help provide for his family. In 2008, he began his acting career with the drama 'The World That They Live In' in which he played a supporting role. 2014 was a successful year for the actor with bigger roles in dramas such as TVN's 'Plus Nine Boys' and in the popular drama 'Pinocchio'. Kim began his mandatory military service on December 12, 2013. However, he was only required to be enlisted for six months as a public service soldier, due to his father being a Vietnam War veteran. Kim was discharged from military service in June 2014.

Eum Moon-seok as Ahn So-ni

Eum Moon-seok is an actor and a singer who goes by the stage name of SIC. He is an actor known for films such as  'On Your Wedding Day'. He was also awarded Best New Actor for 'The Fiery Priest' at the 2019 SBS Drama Awards.

Who are the other stars

Choi Seung-hun as young Yoo Hyun and Lee Re as young Ha-ni star. Other actors include Jung Yi-rang, Kim Kiri and Choi Tae-hwan.

Creators

'Hello, Me!' which is based on the book 'Fantastic Girl' by Kim Hye-jung has been written for the screen by Yoo Song-yi. The film is directed by Lee Hyun-seok and the executive producer on the film is Gi Min-soo. Producers include Jung Ah-reum and Jung Hyun-joo.
