GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Hellmann's recently showcased its new mayonnaise advertisement at Super Bowl LVII. The tagline for the brand's mayonnaise reads, "Hellmann's bring leftover to life." The ad was featured during one of the breaks at Super Bowl LVII. And the famed figure who was the highlight of the ad was Pete Davidson

After Davidson appeared in the Hellman's ad, social media users agreed with the saying of the ad that "Pete Davidson is everywhere." Viewers were not expecting to see Davidson in a mayonnaise ad. After the comedian appeared in the ad with famous celebrities Brie Larson and Jon Hamm, fans wondered whether it was necessary to cast such big faces just to sell mayonnaise. Viewers slammed Davidson by saying that the "guy" literally promotes everything and anything.

'This guy is literally in everything'

Hellmann's ad started with Hamm and Larson's tiny versions having a conversation while sitting inside a fridge beside the bottle of Hellmann's mayonnaise. Well, the joke started with both actors introducing themselves to each other as Hamm and Brie, claiming they are the dinner. Then Davidson opens the fridge. Hamm claims, "Is that Pete Davidson?" Davidson replies to this with an "Uh-huh." Hamm then sarcastically claims, "He really is everywhere." Davidson is then seen spreading the mayonnaise on his hamburger and eating it while Hamm and Larson stand there watching him.

After watching the ad, a fan slammed Davidson for promoting Hellmann's mayonnaise and wrote, "Pete Davidson promoting @Hellmanns?? This guy is literally in everything." Another wrote, "Ok worse than Pete Davidson in the Hellman’s commercial was Elon Musk with Rupert Murdoch in real life. Some scary s**t right there at the #SuperBowl."

"Is that Pete Davidson? Yes. Of course, it is. It's quite surprising we haven't seen more of Pete yet - as Jon Hamm says in @Hellmanns #SuperBowl ad, he really is in everything," wrote a viewer. Another wondered, "What's the takeaway from that break? Pete Davidson is a cannibal, giraffes can bust a hell of a move and Pringles ought to take its can and go home."

Did Hellmann's really need a star-studded ad to sell mayonnaise?

After the ad featured three famous faces, a fan tweeted, "No offense to Pete Davidson, who is tremendous, but @DukesMayonnaise doesn’t need star-studded commercials to sell their mayonnaise." Furthermore, a fan slammed the ad and wrote, "Was Jon Hamm and Brie Larson in that Hellman's #SuperBowl ad the worst waste of two celebrities in a multi-million dollar campaign? (I won't get into the Pete Davidson of it all)."

Another wondered, "I’m not a mayo fan. But Jon Hamm and Brie Larson in their advert helps make it enjoyab— oh, and there’s Pete Davidson, for some f**king reason. Go. AWAY!" To this, a fan replied, "So I guess Pete Davidson will be dating Brie Larson now."
