Who is Justina Miles?

Justina will be performing in ASL for Rihanna's music during the Apple music Super Bowl halftime show. Miles is a Philadelphia-born performer, now living in Maryland, and has impressively performed music in ASL at numerous national concerts. She is also a famous Tiktoker who makes content in the American sign language.  The 4x100 women's track relay team member, Miles, competed for the USA in Brazil's 2022 Deaflympics and came home with a silver medal, as reported by DeafOlympics.

Before competing in the Deaflympics, she said, "Really, my big goal, my big focus is, of course, to get a medal. I mean, I'm really excited for the relays, because I'm a big team player. I've never been an individual player. There are individual sports for people who are so fast, but the relay, that's the part that I'm with, is such a team," as reported by Kxan.

Miles graduated from the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, DC, and is now a nursing student and cheerleader at Bowie State University, a prestigious HBCU.
