Heidi Klum's lingerie photos with daughter Leni attacked by haters, model turns off comments for post
LOS ANGELES: Heidi Klum was compelled to disable her Instagram comments after posting a photo of herself in lingerie with her 18-year-old daughter. On May 2, the 49-year-old supermodel and America's Got talent judge, came to Instagram to share photographs from their latest Intimissimi campaign.
However, Heidi faced backlash after a photoshoot in which she and her lookalike daughter Leni Klum flaunted their bodies in lace lingerie. After some fans deemed the photoshoot inappropriate, the catwalk queen disabled comments.

Like mother-like daughter
Heidi took to Instagram to promote their new Intimissimi campaign, sharing a slew of photos from the shoot and urging people to tag them if they saw their billboards. She penned: 'Yiiiipppppiiiiiiii our new @intimissimiofficial campaign is here. #theartofitalianlingerie can be found online and in all Intimissimi locations.
Heidi, a German-American model, was photographed wearing a blue lingerie set adorned with beautiful white lace. She wore her golden fringed tresses straight across her shoulders and accentuated her ageless features with a high-glamor make-up palette. Leni posed alongside Heidi in a white knickers pair with a satin top, holding hands with her mother.
Heidi had disabled comments on her Instagram. However, Leni had left them open, and some fans were critical of the campaign.
Mixed reactions
"First thing I think of when I want to pose in my intimates: 'my mom should be here!'" commented one, to which another replied, "I know, kind of filthy." "I would not be pleased to show off my daughter in this way," said another fan, adding, "I'd be embarrassed and sad."
"Somehow it's strange to see mother and daughter in knickers," said a third fan. "I mean, how many people have been photographed like this with their mother?" "It just looks odd," said another. Others, on the other hand, were enthused by the campaign, calling Heidi and Leni "beautiful" and a "gorgeous family."
Ahead of Heidi’s birthday
Heidi also marked down the days before her 50th birthday on June 1 by sharing a slew of seductive photos while in London on May 2. She flaunted her curvy figure while sitting on the side of a bathtub, covered in a white dressing gown around her shoulders.
Heidi let her damp golden curls fall across her shoulders while reclining in the five-star Dorchester hotel, pouting and striking a sexy stance. Along with the photos, she announced that she had one month until her 50th birthday, saying, "1 Month to my big 50 @tomkaulitz LONDON #timeflieswhenyourehavingfun."
Not the first time
Her new campaign with her daughter follows criticism for posing in lingerie together in last year's photoshoot too. After facing heat for posing together for the Italian brand, the mother and daughter previously defended one of their advertisements.
They collaborated on campaign thatt was later labeled 'strange' and 'disturbing' by follwers in November 2022. When asked about social media users' criticism of the advertisement, Leni stated it had no effect on her pleasant thoughts about the photoshoot.
Flavio Briatore, Heidi's ex, is Leni's biological father. After marrying the 'Making The Cut' celebrity in 2005, Seal legally adopted her in 2009. Heidi filed for divorce after nearly seven years of marriage in 2012, and it was finalized two years later in 2014.
Her daughter has followed in her mother's footsteps and earned a name for herself in the modeling industry. She recently appeared on a magazine cover and has appeared in Vogue Germany and Glamour Germany, as well as walking the runway at Milan Fashion Week.
