Heidi Klum secretly married German rocker beau Tom Kaulitz in February
Heidi Klum reportedly secretly wedded musician Tom Kaulitz and they have been married for months. A TMZ report Thursday said they exchanged vows back in February in as clandestine a way as Justin and Hailey Bieber.
The publication quoted a public document that established Klum, 46, and Kaulitz, 29, obtained a marriage certificate and spoke to sources who confirmed the nuptials took place in February. On Christmas Eve last year, Tokio Hotel rocker proposed to the supermodel, according to Page Six.
In February, she told Entertainment Tonight, that a date had been set. “Yeah, I think we did,” Klum told the publication. “But you will find out eventually.” That happened Thursday.
According to TMZ, the couple was seen out on February 22 and was thought to be on a dinner date. There was little indication then that they had tied the knot hours earlier.
It bears mentioning Klum said they had first crossed paths on February 22, 2018. They reportedly met through 'Germany's Next Top Model', a show Klum hosts. A source told Us Weekly they relationship developed very smoothly after they hit it off.
“Heidi and Tom met through Germany’s Next Top Model. There was some connection through the show,” the source said. “He’s German [too], so it’s been fun and easy for Heidi. Tom is a breath of fresh air for her. They fell into an easy rhythm really quickly.”
On December 4, they were making out on the set of the reality competition show through which they met. They had been dating less than a year before Kaulitz popped the question.
