Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend arrested on domestic violence charges following fight between the couple
Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, was arrested on charges of domestic violence against the actress. TMZ broke the story May 3, stating the incident happened after a night out in town ended up rashly.
Sources revealed to the outlet that the 'Nashville' actress and her boyfriend went out drinking together in Hollywood on Wednesday night, before heading back to their home. They added that the couple had an argument that turned physical before cops were called. It is still unclear who called the cops though.
The outlet reports that police showed up at 2 a.m. Thursday, and as per sources, they noticed bruises and redness on the actress' body. After speaking to the couple, they determined that Hickerson started the fight, allegedly, and then arrested him.
As per law enforcers' account to the outlet, Hickerson was booked for felony domestic violence, before being released later Thursday, on a $50,000 bond. This isn't the first time Hickerson has been involved in a domestic violence dispute; the last time it happened, the incident involved his father.
TMZ had reported at the time that Hickerson and his father got into an altercation at a South Carolina home in October. The police report stated cops had responded to a call for assault and battery, and when they showed up, Panettiere had answered the door in a drunk and frantic state.
Just a month after that incident, the couple was spotted at a Hollywood hot spot, where Hickerson had created a scene with a faux proposal. The couple has been reportedly dating for almost a year now, kicking it off after Hickerson had reportedly "saved" Panettiere from swarming paparazzi, revealed the outlet.
