Expert says Reba McEntire, 68, might have had 'conservative facelift' as ageless visage confuses fans

Reba McEntire's ever-glowing skin is a source of constant speculation but the singer has never confessed to going under the knife

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reba McEntire is not only known for her Grammy-winning music but also for her youthful looks. The 68-year-old singer is called the ‘Queen of Country’ and it seems she’s not retiring so easily as she has now been seen on the 23rd season of ‘The Voice’.

However, what surprises most of her fans and followers is her ever-glowing skin which also appears not to have aged. Over the years, many have wondered on social media whether she has had surgery. A person shared, “If I ever need plastic surgery I’m calling Reba McEntire and asking her where she goes. This lady looks half her age.”

‘This is pretty bad’

An individual tweeted, “I was scanning through the TV channels last night and came upon the show ‘Big Sky’.  Reba McEntire's facelift is hideous!!!!  Plastic Surgery Disaster!!! (Jello reference).” “Watching a new episode of ‘Big Sky’ with guest star, Reba McEntire and I gotta tell you, some of this facial plastic surgery aftermath is pretty scary. I’ve seen worse, but this is pretty bad.😬” another added.

‘I had to have surgery on my forehead’

Though the ‘Fancy’ singer has never said anything about going under the knife, she once said, as per OK!, “I don’t do Botox. I just don’t do it. Everybody else can, it’s fine with me. I don’t. It’s botulism, so I didn’t want to put that in my body. I think plastic surgery’s great if that’s what you want to do.”

McEntire also once shared about an operation she had to undergo while discussing her ‘Does He Love You’ song. She reportedly said, “Well before we shot the video, I had to have surgery on my forehead because I had a basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. So, to get my schedule lined up with a plastic surgeon and my dermatologist was a miracle, but it happened to be real close to the filming of the ‘Does He Love You’ video."

“So, if you’ll watch it, you’ll see that Sandi Spika had draped my head with hair which usually goes the other way, hair or scarves, because I [had a] huge band-aid on my forehead, so that’s one thing I remember very distinctly. And then looking back at it, it was like I was looking in a mirror because that’s not how I see my hair parted.”

‘Nobody just doesn't age’

Meanwhile, Dr Gary Motykie believes that the actress’ beauty is not all natural. He said in a YouTube video, “I'm a bit suspicious there that she might have been playing around with some fillers in her mid-face. Nobody just doesn't age. So when we see people that aren't aging at all, then it is very suspicious that something was done…”

He also mentioned, “I am suspicious that at some point along the way there that Reba might have had a conservative facelift,” before adding, “I think it was good that she left those characteristic features because it distracted everybody from the work she may have had done.”
