After taking down Donald Trump's Tulsa rally and targeting celebrities with mindless 'is over' hashtags, the KPop fandom's new prey is none other than musician Harry Styles. For no good reason, the highly influential fanbase on Twitter began trending the hashtag, 'Harry Styles is over party'. But anybody who's been on social media for at least half a decade now knows if there's one force that can take down KPop fans, it's the Directioners. And sure enough, Styles' very loyal fanbase rushed to the 'Lights Out' singer's rescue slamming KPop fans for their frivolous trend, asking "Are y’all bored???"

Let's start off with how difficult it would be to legitimately cancel Styles. The 26-year-old rockstar is among the ranks of the Internet's golden boys Timothee Chalamet, Logan Lerman and Dylan O'Brien as kings of being unproblematic. Styles, whose very '80s rock-inspired albums have made significant waves across the industry, is known for embracing his femme side with his unique fashion sense and also labeled one of the most wholesome and well-mannered men in the industry. So the fact that something like Styles is over should even pop up on the Internet is outrageous enough, let alone a full-blown trend by the other cheeky group of fans.

But Styles's fandom is having none of it. Slamming back against KPop fans, Twitter exploded with posts that clarified: "I have NOTHING AGAINST KPOP stans. BUT WHAT THE F*CK. Why y’all cancelling PEOPLE. Are y’all bored???" Another angry fan shared: "ALRIGHT WTF I really hate some kpop fanbases like shut the fuck up why do you randomly cancel people who have done absolutely nothing. he hasn’t done ANYTHING wrong and you cancel him for your own entertainment."

Drawing a very... unlikely comparison, another Styles fan tweeted: "Why is #harrystylesisoverparty trending and #babiesareoverparty not? babies are way more problematic than harry, all they do is scream and cry and make messes while harry is over here treating people with kindness! anyways stream fine line." Others got a little snarky, as one remarked: "Maybe you should put the same energy you did making this trend into signing petitions, just a thought."

The hashtag even got some KPop fans heated enough to label some of their own 'toxic' after they managed to come up with this trend against the utterly harmless former boyband member. "Why is he being cancelled when he’s literally done nothing wrong? Why are the toxic kpop stans so louddd? this is why we get hate," wrote a member of the fanbase. And while some KPop fans chose to apologize on the fandom's behalf, claiming "we have nothing against Harry at all, it’s embarrassing that this is trending. sorry, he's super talented!," others are left simply clueless. "Harries blaming kpop stans even tho we have no idea wtf is happening," said a KPop fan.
