Harry Potter's Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are expecting a baby, fans say 'we didn't know they were dating'
If you've been binge-watching the Harry Potter series during this quarantine, you're definitely not the only one. And for the OG fans that saw Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) grow up on-screen fighting the dark arts alongside his buddies, we have some good news for you. Grint, 31, is expecting his first baby with his girlfriend and 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' actress Georgia Groome, 28.

Although the duo have kept their sparks out of prying media eyes, Grint has spoken of wanting babies recently. Groome popped out with her baby bump during the pair's outing in London confirming the sweet news! PEOPLE reported that a rep for the mama and daddy to be confirmed to them saying, “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time."

The duo has been so private about their love life, that some fans were shocked that he even had a significant other but were accepting that the actor that they love so much has chosen his partner. "I didn’t even know Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome were dating... anyway, congrats to them on their first baby. Rupert will always be one of my first first loves tho, so here is a picture of us," tweeted a fan with a fan picture of her and the actor.
The Weasely fan base tore up Twitterverse, with one fan tweeting, "So you’re telling me. That my Rupert Grint. Is going to be a father. And I’m NOT going to be his baby mama? This sounds like THE fakest news." Twitter went all out with GIFs of baby Ron when the Harry Potter series debuted and nostalgia was through the roof.

The couple was seen out and about on Thursday, seemingly stocking up on resources amid the lockdown. The paparazzi was the last thing on their minds, as they sported a casual look with the baby bump quite visible. "What a time to be alive. Some fans were so invested in the news, that they put in their two cents on what the baby should be named, with one fan tweeting, "I hope rupert grint and georgia groome name their baby robbie (it's gender neutral :D)." We don't know if the tweet will reach Grint, but we're not against the name.
