When did the couple tie the knot?
The couple met in 2008, through a mutual friend "on a random night out in Los Angeles" — as Rodriguez put it, in an interview with CBS. After dating for seven years, the couple tied the knot in 2015. According to a report by Us Weekly, Knight proposed to Rodriguez in Africa and the story is quite cute. The couple was on a trip along with their mothers and Knight felt it was the perfect opportunity to propose, seeing that he'd catch Rodriguez off-guard.
“We were on the Zambezi River — it’s right above Victoria Falls. We took a nighttime raft dinner, just the four of us out on the river, there was like a hippopotamus in the background,” Knight said. He referred to the moment as being "beautiful" and "romantic" and we couldn't agree more.
The pair have also done some interesting things together. The couple was a part of Season 26 of 'The Amazing Race' in 2015, the same year they tied the knot. They placed ninth in their season. Apart from this, they both are quite supportive of each other's careers, seeing that for the most part, Knight has been touring again. Rodriguez is often a part of the audience, cheering his husband on.
