One of the biggest moments from the 'Harley Quinn' Season 1 finale left fans pondering a big question - has the Joker (Alan Tudyk) returned to normal? The next episode of 'Harley Quinn' implies that he has, though whether or not Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) should trust him is still very much what needs to be debated.

When we last saw the Joker, he had fallen into the vat of acid that first transformed him into the unhinged supervillain we know today. As he fell, he activated bombs around Gotham City that were responsible for the No Man's Land state it finds itself in this season. The Season 1 finale shows the Joker's hand reaching out from the rubble as his laugh is heard - a laugh that then fades to a more normal voice, as the paleness of Joker's skin fades into a more normal skin tone. The implication is that the Joker has been cured of whatever turned him into a homicidal clown, though what that really means is anyone's guess.

In the next episode of 'Harley Quinn,' entitled 'All the Best Inmates Have Daddy Issues,' an apparently normalized Joker is spotted by Harley and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell), bringing up some serious questions - are the chemicals the Joker fell in responsible for making him the way he is or was he always a rotten person at his core? This, of course, brings up another important question - should this seemingly sane version of the Joker be responsible for the crimes of his crazier counterpart?

The episode also features a look back in time, revealing Harley's and Joker's first meeting, giving fans a 'Harley Quinn' take on her classic 'Mad Love' origin story. We see Harleen Quinzel's first day at Arkham Asylum and we might get to see another important first meeting - the one between her and Poison Ivy.

The official synopsis for the episode reads, "When Harley and Ivy spot a seemingly sane Joker (after he fell into the normalizing acid last season), they debate whether people can change at their core – revisiting a flashback about Harleen Quinzel’s first day at Arkham Asylum."

The next episode of 'Harley Quinn' airs May 8, on DC Universe.
