Williams marries Sharon MaHarry
Williams, 73, married Sharon MaHarry on Saturday, May 6, 2023, and is now a content husband. The actor celebrated the significant milestone with a beautiful and idyllic wedding ceremony in his own yard. The TV legend looked sharp in a black suit, light blue dress shirt, and tie with a gray pattern. He completed his ensemble with a boutonniere on the lapel of his jacket and a pair of black eyeglasses, as reported by Amomama.
On the other hand, Williams' bride looked lovely in a floor-length lace dress with long sleeves and a boat neck. She clutched a pretty flower bouquet while letting some of her short blonde hair fall freely and pinning some of it back out of her face. In the presence of their loved ones, the newlyweds eternalized their love while beaming with happiness. Williams, who unsuccessfully ran for mayor of Ojai in the past, married MaHarry at a private home in the city by the sea, Los Angeles, as per reports.
The groom's large, lush green yard, which was decorated with enormous flower and plant pots, served as the location for the ceremony. Bright lights were strung from trees to create a stunning effect and make the occasion even more spectacular. MaHarry's daughter escorted her down the aisle as friends and family looked on in admiration. The bride and the groom exchanged vows while a soft melody played in the background.
Williams and MaHarry announced their engagement on Facebook on April 3. He maintained a radiant, contagious smile throughout the ceremony, perfectly capturing his joy. Williams' co-star Don Most, who played Ralph Malph in 'Happy Days', served as his best man.
Williams' past marriages
Williams has already been married twice; his first marriage to Lorrie Mahaffey ended in divorce in 1986. After living together for more than three decades and having five children together, his second marriage to Jackie Gerkens ended in dissolution, as reported by Wonderwall. They initially split up, but soon changed their minds and decided to give it another shot. The couple started the divorce process in September 2019, but a month later, Williams reportedly appeared in court to ask for the case to be dismissed. However, things once again started to go south nine months later, and the pair finally got divorced in 2020.
Williams struggled with a terrifying health condition in addition to having a tumultuous personal life. He was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer in 2016 just before Christmas. Soon after, he underwent two procedures and spent three weeks in the hospital. In addition to winning the fight against the potentially fatal illness, he also developed a new outlook on life, as per reports.
