Halsey reportedly dubbed 'pedophile' after video surfaces of her 'kissing random underage fans' on the lips
American pop sensation Halsey has been accused of becoming a little too intimate with her fans, so much that her critics have reportedly branded her a "pedophile" after a video showed the star kissing underage fans on the lips.
According to a report by Aceshowbiz.com, the 'Gasoline' hitmaker, who enjoys close to 24 million followers on Instagram, was attacked after footage of her friendly interactions with her young fans surfaced. One Twitter user shared the video and wrote alongside, "Since the TL is canceling white women now is the perfect time to bring up Halsey kissing little girls? Like as a fully grown woman she was going around kissing random underage fans allegedly as young as 10 years old."

"This is honestly so disturbing and disgusting," one user commented. "Weird. Why is she kissing strangers on the mouth anyway? Even weirder. Let alone the fact the strangers are children. Yuck," another added. "this is f**king (sic) weird and creepy" a third chimed in, according to the publication.
"Can adults please leave children alone?!" another commented. "I would've smacked the s**t outta her if that was my child!" a fifth added, while someone else wrote, "But Halsey probably went about thinking this is cute when it's not. These kids want a damn pic, not to be kissed."
The user who shared the footage wrote that she hoped that Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, would be held accountable for her allegedly inappropriate behavior with kids. "I hope y'all actually follow through on holding her accountable this time cause y'all like to let white women slide," they wrote. Meanwhile, another user was not sure such a thing would happen. "Good luck bro. women getting canceled on pedophilia seems so out of reach and it's sad," they added.
Halsey, who has not responded to the social media outrage, is currently preparing to become a full-time mother after she announced in January that she and her boyfriend, screenwriter Alev Aydin, were expecting their first child together.
Last week, MEAWW reported how the singer-songwriter had extended her support to her favorite K-pop group BTS after they were recently slammed by German radio host Matthias Matuschik for their MTV unplugged performance.
The ‘Without Me’ hitmaker shared a story on her official account saying she was horrified to read the racist comments made by the radio host. Apart from Halsey, musicians Maxx and Lauv also came out to support BTS.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the 26-year-old crooner stated, “I am horrified to read the comments made by Matthias Matuschik. Racism and xenophobia cannot be thinly veiled as 'on-air humor'. Irresponsible and disgusting in a time where hate speech and violent behavior towards Asian communities are skyrocketing.” She concluded, “This is unacceptable. I hope a better apology to BTS, and the Asian communities across the world, is on its way.”
For the uninitiated, Halsey and BTS worked together on the song ‘Boy with Luv’ in April 2019. The song earned the nomination for MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography and also won the Mnet Asian Music Award for Song of the Year.
