'Leave me alone:' Hailey Bieber tells off haters after comparisons to Selena Gomez
Tired of hateful comments and messages, Hailey Bieber has asked the trolls to leave her alone. The model's response has come after constant comparisons to her husband Justin Bieber's former girlfriend, pop star Selena Gomez.
Hailey posted a TikTok video on Tuesday, April 12, where she can be heard saying, "Leave me alone at this point. I'm minding my business. I don't do anything, I don't say anything. Leave me alone, please. Enough time has gone by where it's valid to leave me alone. I beg of you. Truly. That's my only request. Be miserable somewhere else, please."

The video was captioned, "This is for you guys in my comments every single time I post." Though Hailey didn't state the exact reason behind the video, people were quick to point out that it could possibly have something to do with how she is repeatedly compared to Selena. The 25-year-old posted a video of herself lip-syncing to a TikTok version of 'One Time' this month, and was spammed with comments stating that Justin wrote the song about Selena.

"Selena Gomez is prettier ever and more motivating because she is very mature her heart is also," one person wrote below the video. "Rare beauty is perfect," another commented, referring to Selena's makeup line, as per Ace Show Biz. Selena has previously asked her fans to stop the hate comments and trolling. "I will never stand for women tearing other women down. So please be kind to everyone," she said during an Instagram live in 2019.
Justin previously defended Hailey against trolls in December 2020 during an Instagram live. After a user commented, "[We] need to f**king bombard that s**t with Jelena and how Selena is better. Go after, please, let's all go after her," the 28-year-old pop singer said, "This sad excuse of a human just encouraged people on video to literally go after my wife, telling people to say that my previous relationship was better [and] so on and so forth. It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love the most in this world. It is not right."
Selena and Justin had a longtime on-and-off relationship, but they finally broke it off in 2018. Justin started dating Hailey soon after and post a few months, the two got married at a New York City courthouse in September 2018. A year later, the pair married again in a religious ceremony in South Carolina.
