It is almost that time of the year when a few parts of the world, especially America, experience heavy snowstorms. Although storms could be super scary, they could sometimes lead you to meet the love of your life in a very unconventional way!

As crazy as it sounds, that is the premise on which Lifetime's latest Christmas movie 'Grounded For Christmas' is based on. Here is everything you need to know about the film ahead of its release.

Plot

Winter storm hits Cleveland and grounds all flights, the hotels nearby get filled with stranded travelers. Nina (Julianna Guill), a pilot, hesitantly lets her flamboyant yet charming co-pilot, Brady (Corey Sevier), stay at her parents' home.

When they discover that her family is hosting a tree-trimming party that night where her ex-beau would be attending too, Brady pretends to be her boyfriend to help her out. The snowstorm continues to torment the city, they ruse snowballs as Brady and Nina are stuck attending the holiday events together. With Christmas closing in, will the two opposites begin to realize that the best gift they could ever have is each other?
