Grandmother-of-five Susan Lucci looks like she's aging 'in reverse' at 76 after beating heart disease
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite struggling with heart disease and losing her husband of 53 years shortly after her last surgery, Susan Lucci looks like she never ages at 76 and enjoys being a grandmother in the twilight years of her life.
The evergreen beauty continues to prove that age is just a number with her youthful looks and continued career strides. Lucci’s secret to healthy skin even after all these years seems to be the discipline she shows toward her fitness routine and eating habits. Through her cherished marriage to late husband, Helmut Huber, the 'All My Children' actress is the happy mother-of-two, Lisa, 47, and Andreas, 34, and a loving grandmother to five.

"I don't feel my age," Lucci told Parade magazine. She revealed that she had learned not to fixate on her age and instead focussed on her children and her grandchildren. "I'm trying to spoil them," the actress gushed gushed her grandchildren, adding, "I have to follow the desires of their parents… but I have plans." She insisted she doesn't feel 76, and her fans think she doesn't look a day over 21. The 'Seduced and Betrayed' star set hearts racing after she recently shared a photo on Instagram flaunting a dainty outfit and jewelry. The actress posted a close-up selfie highlighting her chic black and white tube top, which she accessorized with gold jewelry to complement the buttons on her dress.
Fans couldn't help but marvel at Lucci's stunning looks as she beamed at the camera with minimal makeup on. Many insisted the actress looked the same in the 2020s as she did in the 1990s. "You age in reverse," Emmy-nominated producer and director Tom D'Angora wrote. "Looking like you did in the 90s here," another fan chimed in, while someone else called her a "timeless beauty."
'70 is the new 40'
Despite being hospitalized multiple times due to heart disease -- an unusual calcium buildup in her arteries which she believes is an inherited trait from her father's side of the family -- Lucci’s enviable appearance in her 70s continues to turn heads. She credits her health and wellness regimen for it. "If you train hard, you can offset some of what you've got going against you,” the actress said, as quoted by AmoMama. She has also insisted that “70 is the new 40” and that she continues to learn, grow, and push herself to do something new every day.
However, despite grabbing headlines for her mesmerizing looks, Lucci has been vocal about how beauty is so much more. "People look at me and say, 'Wow, she doesn't seem old, but she is old.' Meanwhile, the reality is if you're strong, you're beautiful, no matter what age you are,” she declared.
Lucci has had an illustrious television career, having starred in shows such as 'Hot in Cleveland,' 'Devious Minds', and 'Hope & Faith.' Her most famous role, however, is that of Erica Kane on the popular daytime soap opera 'All My Children'. She was most recently seen co-hosting ‘Good Day NY’ and was the TV commentator for the 80th Golden Globe Awards.
