LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tim McGraw's daughter Gracie McGraw recently attended a screening of Benjamin Millepied’s musical drama ‘Carmen’ and took to social media to share a glowing review of the film alongside a flirty message for the male protagonist Paul Mescal. “Had a glorious time at the screening of @benjaminmillepied movie “Carmen” on Tuesday night. It was beautifully crafted and emotionally charged. @melissabarreram was so stunningly magnetic in this movie with her take on the character of Carmen …..and well Paul Mescal (who btw hi paul…. I am single) easily matched his scene partners intensity and heart.,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you @cinemasociety for having me! And shout out to my hot date @emilyjalmer *Just want to announce (for my mothers sake) that I did,in fact, steam my skirt before going out but she wrinkled on the car ride over,*” the younger McGraw added. For the event, McGraw donned a Vivienne Westwood top and paired it with a white, knee-length Prada skirt and shoes, HELLO! magazine reported. She also shared glimpses of her stunning ensemble by posting a few bathroom selfies.

Paul Mescal said he would keep his life ‘private’ amid Phoebe Bridgers split rumors

While Gracie McGraw revealed her ‘single’ status by sharing a flirty compliment for Mescal in her review of his film ‘Carmen,” the Irish actor previously said he would keep his relationship status “private” amid his split rumors with Phoebe Bridgers. Mescal and Bridgers started dating in 2020 before rumors of the couple getting engaged made the rounds in April 2022. After Mescal’s November 2022 interview with The Guardian, the publication wrote that he and Bridgers “are reported to be engaged.” However, the outlet later retracted the claim fueling split rumors between the pair. Bridgers was spotted with Bo Burnham in December 2022, which further escalated the breakup rumors.

During his interview with Vanity Fair, Mescal said that he now prefers to keep his life “private.” “When ‘Normal People’ came out, I was very forthright in interviews, and it didn’t actually serve me. But the temptation still exists to be like: ‘Shut the f*** up. This is my life. This is what’s going on. Or this is what’s not going on’” the actor said. “But moving forward as much as I can, that’s going to be my life that is private. That’s a difficult thing to achieve. But giving strangers an answer about my life doesn’t actually help me. It’s like a quick boost of serotonin, being like: ‘I’ve said what I need to say.’ And then it’s just Twitter fodder,” he added. Mescal was also spotted grabbing a coffee with Angelina Jolie in December 2022.

What role does Paul Mescal play in ‘Carmen?’

'Carmen' is a musical drama film directed by Benjamin Millepied, based on Georges Bizet’s opera of the same name. The film has its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2022, and is scheduled to have a theatrical release in France on June 14, 2023, by Pathe Distribution.

‘Scream’ star Melissa Barrera stars as Carmen in the film, a young woman who leaves behind her home in Mexico after the murder of her mother while Mescal plays the role of Aidan, a former Marine officer with PTSD, who rescues Carmen after his partner on the border control threatens her life. Together with Carmen, Aiden struggles through several difficulties as the pair heads toward Los Angeles.
