'Looks like a robot': Taylor Swift trolled for her outfit at Golden Globes 2024
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift ditched her beau Travis Kelce's game and attended the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. The singer arrived at the star-studded event in a snake-like shimmery green metallic gown.
The singer wore her blond hair down in a simple wave. She accessorized her red carpet look with large diamond De Beers earrings.
However, Taylor's 2024 Golden Globes outfit received some unwanted attention and criticism on the internet.
On Instagram, a person commented, "She’s trying to model but she has a bobble head.. ." Another person added, "So glad [Jo Koy] mocked her. Overrated and overexposed. her Shrek look stinks too."
Another internet user added, "She looks like she is not a human but a robot." Another Instagram user said, "Omg that dress...holy sitake mushrooms."

Golden Globes 2024 started with an "awkward" and "embarrassing" monologue. Host Jo Koy started the award ceremony with a joke about Taylor Swift which seemingly offended the singer as well as her fans.
Jo Koy said, "The difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL is we got fewer shots of Taylor Swift." Although the host apologized, Taylor seemed offended as she took a sip of wine from her glass.
Viewers also slammed Jo Koy for his joke and noted, "The host has disrespected taylor swift, barry keoghan, barbie and now japan for the culture of sushi….who hired him?!?"

Taylor Swift's record-shattering Eras Tour movie has been nominated in the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category at the 2024 Golden Globes.
The Golden Globes' Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category recognized the "highest-earning and/or most-viewed films that have gained extensive global audience support and produced exceptional creative content" in 2023.
Taylor has previously earned four Golden Globe nominations for Best Original Song. Although she never gets a chance to win an accolade, fans are expecting that she could take at least one Golden Globe this year.
