LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The hosts of ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ has become an integral part of people’s lives and they love to start their day by seeing their favorite news presenters. Talking about hosts, there have been some massive changes in the “weather” team of the show and Rob Marciano hasn’t been seen giving weather updates from the studio for a while now. His place was taken by Ginger Zee, the chief meteorologist for ABC News, and fans have been wondering if they will ever see Marciano back in the studio.

One curious fan wanted to know about Marciano’s whereabouts and asked if he’ll ever give weather updates from the ABC studios in the future. While replying to another tweet, the Twitter user wrote, “Whatever happened to Rob Marciano at ABC? Seems like Ginger Zee took over the weather.

Zee shuts down fan over 'uncomfortable question'

Zee didn’t take much time to respond to this query and gave a befitting reply to the user. The chief meteorologist went on to say that she has been a part of ABC News for a very long time and always had this position. On the other hand, she concluded her tweet by assuring the curious fan that Marciano is still a part of the team along with Somara Theodore.

“Hey, Tasha! I’ve been here longer than Rob and always had this position but he is still a part of the team along with Somara,” Zee wrote.

For the uninitiated, Marciano is still a part of the weather team and primarily focuses on giving updates from ground zero, meaning the weather-centric host visits dangerous locations and provides updates from there. Also, there’s a reason why viewers don’t see Marciano in the studios anymore and the matter is much more complicated than people would expect it to be.

Why is Rob Marciano not allowed to enter ABC Studios?

According to a Page Six report in March 2023, Marciano was “banned” from ABC’s Times Square Studios after he allegedly made a female colleague uncomfortable last year. Although no one knows what Marciano did, an insider claimed that he was dealing with “anger management issues” because of the divorce from his wife, Eryn.

“He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events,” the insider told Page Six.

Marciano was not allowed to enter the studios for one month and he was bound to come back for all the weather-centric updates. However, the report suggests that “GMA” executive producer Simon Swink was not allowing Marciano to enter the studios.

Now that fans have started asking questions about Marciano’s whereabouts, it would be interesting to see if he would be brought back to the studios for weather updates. As of now, he is visiting all the dangerous places to provide exclusive reports from ground zero.
