'Game of Thrones' prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ official playlist out on Spotify, fans play track on 'repeat'

As soon as the news was dropped by the global music streamer Spotify on their official handle, it caused a frenzy amongst ardent fans

We all know how the first episode of the awaited prequel saga ‘House of the Dragon’ broke viewership records globally when it premiered on August 21, 2022, on HBO and HBO Max. But apart from the riveting storyline and well-etched performances by the stars in the multi-starrer historical war prequel, even the music and background scores created and used are considered important. The fans that have watched the episode are giving it plaudits and accolades. The multi-layered playlist of the series is officially out now.

Spotify took to their Twitter handle and dropped the exciting news of the playlist of 'House of the dragon' being out. The tweet was posted by the music giant streamer on August 24. Their caption for the same read, “Alert the court. The #HOTD @Spotify official playlist is here.”

As soon as this news was dropped by global music streamer on their official handle, it caused a frenzy amongst ardent fans. They immediately turned Twitter into a live tweet festival. They started giving plaudits and applauds to the musical playlist of the 'Westeros saga'. Many of them mentioned how Ramin Djawadi’s musical score for the prequel is so excellent that he has yet again gone to the top of their list as a musician. Many of them claimed to be obsessed with the entire track list of the saga which was seen in comments.

“Obsessed,” one fan said. “Ramin once again going to the top of my most listened artist,” shared a fan. “Genial,” said another fan. While a user noted, “Definitely will be playing this on repeat. I've taken a quick glance and interestingly enough, there doesn't seem to be any new soundtracks made specifically for #HOTD But I could be wrong."

A fan added, “Update: the first track "The Prince that was promised" was made specifically for #HOTD but everything else is old GoT soundtracks. Interesting enough too, the second track is the Main Theme from GoT... What if they're keeping the same opening theme as the original show?" 

A fan chimed in “Personally, I use Amazon music. Ramin Djwadi’s music is out there listening to it for over three years now,” One user said, “Time to play this on repeat until the next episode." “Ramin Djawadi’s scoring in the first episode was excellent as expected!” a fan adds.

The second awaited episode of the prequel titled 'The Rogue Prince' is going to premiere globally on August 28, 2022, Sunday at 9 pm ET on both HBO and HBO Max.
