Bryan Kohberger's FATAL ATTRACTION: From Ted Bundy to Chris Watts, 6 killers who received love letters
SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA: Brittney J Hislope, one of the female fans of Bryan Kohberger, who is suspected of the Idaho murders, publicly released a love letter to the alleged killer. The letter stated, "My love interest ... is named Bryan and is accused of murder and I just wish to connect with him above anyone else." Hislope is the mother of a 16-year-old son.
This is not the first time a world famous criminal has received a love letter from his fan. Serial killers Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer have received love mails from fans in the past. Here is a list of criminals who made their female fans swoon.

Ted Bundy
Theodore Robert Bundy, known as Ted Bundy, raped numerous women and confessed to killing 30 of them between 1974 and 1978. He had received hundreds of letters from his female fans. However, he gained the attention of one of his lovers named Janet to whom he wrote back. Once she received the letter from Ted, she responded by saying, “I got the letter you sent me and read it again,” she wrote in the letter. “I kissed it all over and held it to me. I don’t mind telling you I am crying. I just don’t see how I can stand it anymore. I love you so very much, Ted," reports List Verse.
Richard Ramirez
Richard Ramirez, who became known as the Night, stalker was convicted on 43 counts, including thirteen counts of murder, five counts of attempted murder, eleven counts of sexual assault, and fourteen counts of burglary. Although he received many letters from his fans, he later married one of his admirers while he was in prison. However, the most interesting story of his long list of admirers might be that of Cindy Haiden. Haiden was among his jurors in court. Haiden even brought her family to meet him in prison. Later, she also brought him a plate full of cupcakes with the words "I love you" written on them, List Verse reports.
Ramirez also responded to Barbara and Richie Dickstein, a Yonkers couple whose hobby was writing love letters to criminals. At one point in the letter to Barbara, he explained, "I used to go to downtown LA to take pictures ... There was a place where I could go under the street. It was at a stoplight. I'd be able to look up the [women's] dresses as they would wait for the walk sign to change. I take pictures. You'd be surprised how many chicks walk around w/ no panties ...You see Madonna at the MTV Awards? I was with Sean Penn at the LA County Jail. He was in jail for 30 days for punching out a camera. She came to visit him and I saw her. She's tiny ... Something about Hillary Clinton that I dig. Her calves and ankles are definitely healthy. I think you'd agree." He also responded to a long list of questions she asked him, according to the New York Post.

Jeffrey Dahmer
Dahmer and his murders have become world famous. He raped, murdered, and dismembered the bodies of 17 boys and cannibalized and desecrated their bodies after they were dead. In 1993, one of his admirers sent him $12,000 to help him. Another fan from the United Kingdom sent him almost $5,920. There were also women who sent him money to buy cigarettes and books in prison, according to List Verse. In a letter from Jeffrey to Barbara, the latter claimed that she was a bodybuilder for the killer, and he stated, "...with all the mail I get, it's difficult to know who I should respond to. In your next letter would you please send me some really good photo's to help make your letter stand out in the crowd. You said you're a bodybuilder, that's good. I'd like to see every unclothed muscular inch of you."
Chris Watts
Watts faces nine charges, including several counts of first-degree murder of his wife and two young daughters.Watts had also received letters from many of his fans.One of the letters said, "In my heart I know you are a great guy. If you do write me back I'd be the happiest girl alive that's for sure," the Mirror said. A woman named Candace wrote to the killer, "I think bout you often. I really, really, really do care about you ... maybe I'm nuts/crazy LOL. Please add me to your visitation list and trust me, you will not be sorry! I'm going to your next hearing in November!!," said Spiegel as per Mirror.
Kenneth Bianchi
Kenneth Bianchi is known for the Hillside Strangler murders, which he committed with his cousin Angelo Buono Jr. He had also received many love letters. Veronica Compton, one of his admirers, even made a play out of his murders. It was titled 'The Mutilated Cutter' and was sent to the serial killer. “I hope you received my letter and could spare a moment during your busy schedule to look over my play. I really think you will find the plot quite fascinating. After all, it was you who inspired it. I hope to inspire you one day," as per List Verse. Her love was so excessive that she even tried to commit copycat murders, like the one of Bianchi in 1980. She had also retrieved Bianchi's sperm from prison in a plastic glove. Compton had planned to murder a woman and place his semen on her body to make it look like DNA tests had misidentified Bianchi. However, her victim escaped the murder and informed police, leading to her arrest and putting her behind bars.
Charles Manson
Charles Manson was convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of seven people, including film actress Sharon Tate, as per Wikipedia. He had also received a letter from Barbara, he stated in his letter, "It’s always good to here [sic] from you – i’ve been a few years working out of the hole – again. O, WELL. when the others tell on me and makeup storys [sic] they want to believe because it adds to there [sic] job importance I get to go over the same old same old so it can turn the circle in the chains of command. Send your number and I’ll call you – I know you been used by some people who called me brother and one day maybe it will catch up. You and I are still solid as far as I’m concerned. I did ask a good friend to help me and I explained – will be in contact. Easy Charles Manson. PS if I get out could you give me a job as a bouncer?" as per New York Post.
